Like I said Ace, I’ve never had a problem with you before now. But yes I have found it rather tedious these last few weeks when you seem to mention MH in almost all your posts.

I’m not in anyway supporting anything MH has said or done because I don’t have an opinion about anything he’s said, and the same can be said about yours, where GGP are concerned.

It’s just the bickering that’s made me say what I have. You’re both invested, so presumably want the same thing, as most here do, which is to make a good return on your investment, so why you should act like rutting stags, god only knows. I could sympathise if you were corresponding to the likes of Nine, CP, Fred Dobbs & any other naysayers that post their nonsense here. I’m just asking politely to give it a rest, call a truce, whatever.

Unless you’re in a very privileged position, then nobody will have a Scooby Doo who is to be announced as the new owners of Telfer.

There’s Pro’s & Con’s for GGP to owning Telfer, but is it the be all & end all of being invested in GGP, absolutely not.

I truly believe SD & the BOD’s will fight tooth & nail to buy back the farm (Havieron), but as for Telfer, I’m not too sure.

SD once said he’d only pay $1 for Telfer due to its best days being well & truly behind it, plus the liabilities that anyone purchasing Telfer would have to inherit and absorb into its finances.

According to Shinybits a huge amount of money has been spent on Telfer to get it into shape for the impending sale, a bit like paying for new tyres and a service on your old banger, but just how many tyre kicker’s have been out to Telfer to see for themselves whether or not the money being asked, will be worth it ? Who knows.

For me, I wouldn’t buy things just because they’ve got new shiny bits on it, I’d only interested if it’d be good for another 100,000 miles. So as has been rumoured before, Telfer need’s to show that it’s reserve’s can be increased from what is currently known, as there’s no point in purchasing anything whereby you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel from the off, it needs to stand on its own two feet and make profits of its own, without adding in the ore from Havieron, unless of course, it will only be used just as a processing plant, in which case the sale price will be adjusted accordingly.

But at present, as always, it’s just a matter of Wait & see what will be announced!

StarBright, I never said it was worth $1.2B, that’s what the independent valuer agreed when he valued GGP’s 5% at $60M.

But that doesn’t mean Newmont won’t sell it for less does it. They want rid of Telfer, but to get that deal across the line, they’re left between a rock & a hard place (excuse the pun) having to sweeten the deal by including Havieron within the deal.

At the end of the day, something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

Like I stated earlier, GGP are in a very strong position due to the fact they negotiated the LROR within the original JV with Newcrest. That LROR is worth it’s weight in gold, as it has surely put off many potential suitors of making a formal bid to Newmont for both assets.

Currently GGP own 30%, that was independently valued at circa $360M, so just the same as buying a house, the banks are usually prepared to lend you the money to purchase it, so long as the value of the loan doesn’t exceed the valuation of the home (asset).

SD managed to secure a $240M loan from three large banks against just 30%, and stated it was scaleable for a higher percentage ownership. What percentage ownership that was discussed with the banks, as far as I’m aware, has never been disclosed. So imo, whatever monies are needed to buy the farm back plus paying for the remaining build of Havieron to completion, shouldn’t be a problem.

Havieron has already got 8.4 million oz equivalent of gold on its books, so what if all the geology experts are correct, and there proves to be 20M oz’s has as been muted for a very long time. Don’t you think the banks will be falling over themselves to get a slice of the funding, of course they will.

You need to open your eyes and your mind to see what’s happening around you.

30th September 2022, the SP was at 7.25p, that’s almost two years ago. Yes we’ve all seen it rise & fall a little since that date, but for pretty much all that time we are being held around the price of the independent valuation of what 5% of the Havieron asset was worth, plus another few million for our other tenements.

Once Mr Market knows exactly where GGP are headed in relation to the possible acquisition of Newmont’s divestiture of Telfer/Havieron assets, things will become much more clear.

All this talk about if we do this or that, is just talk. Nothing will happen until a decision is finally made by Newmont as to whom they will sell to.

Yes, GGP are in a strong position with the LROR up their sleeve, but nothing is certain until it is confirmed.

It’s frustrating I know, waiting for all this to play out, but as they say “Patience is a virtue”, and eventually I believe for those who have been patient, the rewards will come.

Don’t forget that when we were in negotiations over whether or not Newmont were to purchase another 5% from us, the valuation was assessed at $60 million dollars, which when converted on a 100% basis, it would of valued the Havieron project at $1.2 Billion.

So when we see the naysayers here, stating that there will be a fund raise coming, even if it’s for another $350 million, that’s still way under what the valuation was, and that’s just for Havieron, add Telfer into the mix and that’s one helluva accretive deal. Folk just need to look at the bigger picture instead of just the here & now. SD & the board have only just managed to put the base coat onto the canvas. Just wait until the final picture is unveiled, because it’ll be a masterpiece.

Ignore what Nine, CP and the like say, they can’t see past the end of their noses. ATB to all who still can.

The problem I have with these sort of Chartist’s, is that they will not back up anything they produce.

Firstly they always have a disclaimer to fall back on if things don’t go as they’ve predicted, and secondly, why produce these videos if all your going to tell people is “Don’t trust anything I say, take everything I say with a pinch of salt, and seek accredited professional advice.”

In other words I know nothing more than anyone else !

It just shouts out the bleeding obvious to me. It’s just a chart showing the history of how the SP has performed in its history. Is it not the case with all shares that when the volume of buys suddenly exceeds what it has been, then the SP of said company rises, and vice versa, when the volume drops or volume of sells is greater than the buys.

I find it funny that these guys always seem to show ascending lines from left to right, and in doing so, also show a massive range of where the share could be heading, depending on wether or not you take the lower trajectory line (bottom line in a trend) or higher line.

Why don’t they show the trend line from 37.5p down to the 5.65p ? Because that would show a completely different story wouldn’t it, and that’s no good for these chartist who only want to tell us just how good it’s going to be in the not too distant future.

I’m sure, just like JiffyBag said, you’d have just as much chance of Gypsy Rose Lee reading you her tea leaf prediction’s being correct, than Swazers or any number of other chartist out there, including the infamous Zac Mir.
