My allocation has just been confirmed by ii. I put in two request for two separate ISA’s for 836,000 in each. I’ve only been allocated 527,000 in each, representing a 63.29% undertaking.

What I can’t understand is, I was told that it would be the same percentage for everyone, but it seems as if some of you guys have either been allocated what you’d asked for, ie 100%, and some others a figure in between.

Oh well, I’ll just have to keep the remaining cash in my account for another time.

And just as a follow on whilst we’re mentioning the likes of Northern Star, I was in contact again with Steve Todoruk from Sprott on Tuesday, and here is what I’d asked and his reply, for anyone who’s interested.

I’m hoping that GGP will turn in to the next NST.au and EVN.au. Back around 2010-2012 both of those companies acquired producing gold mines from several of the big gold miners that had mines in Australia that were forced to sell non-core mines to generate cash to pay down debt because they were in terrible financial shape. Those acquisitions turned those two companies into the big gold miners they are today. Pull up 20 year charts to see their share price performance. I had clients in both of those stocks and some still own them.

Make of that what you will, but I think it’s a positive endorsement of what GGP have attained.

Exactly Loggy, NS in particular didn’t progress very much SP wise as an explorer. It wasn’t until they purchased their first mine in 2010 with an SP languishing around the A$0.40c mark, that they started to make decent profit. By 2020 their SP had reached over A$16.00 ! Just hoping our BOD’s can follow in their footsteps, and seeing our CEO was part of that journey, I can’t see any reason why not.

The price of a 400 oz gold bar in 1971 would have cost you $1400, in 2000 it would have cost you $115,000, and now will cost $1,000,000. What’s it going to cost in another 10/20 years ?

If anyone is wondering why only £6.5M was made available to retail, I’m led to believe it’s because of some European law whereby it states that a maximum of only €8 (£6.5) in any twelve month period can be offered for this type of raise.

Well that took a bit of faffin around to get my Primary Bid orders in with ii, but finally managed to get them confirmed.

Another £80k’s worth in the pot as it would’ve been rude not to. If it’s good enough for the institution’s to jump in at 4.8p then who am I to argue.

Just got to see if we get the full allocation now, or whether it’s oversubscribed and we get a percentage reduction.

And just to confirm for anyone wondering, Yes both orders were allocated to our ISA accounts.

I’m currently into my 6th year with my GGP holding, and I initially thought around 10 years for it to get to the number I thought.

Yes it started it off slowly, but as you know, has hit a few bumps in the road, but I’ve still another 4 years to reach my target.

I’m sure that by 2028 given the news today, we will reach it, so imo, it’s definitely not the time to throw the towel in, it’s now the time to look ahead and think about just where we can be with this new mining company. Remember the date 10/09/24, the dawn of a new era.

I’ve just spoken with ii and unfortunately they hadn’t heard of the listing until I rang.

So it will be tomorrow morning before you will be able to place your submission. They also said that the 30th September deadline, would be brought forward by a few days were they are concerned, so don’t leave it until the last minute if you want to avoid disappointment. Hope that helps.
