For goodness sake, people complain when there's no news and then complain when we get news! - see my earlier post and other's. It's good PR and a signal that AFC is a serious contender. Accept it for what it is.

Excellent news in my opinion. It puts AFC Energy on the world stage. The relationships formed at the conference will undoubtedly be significant. It demonstrates also that AFC are considered to be a serious contender in the hydrogen economy. Well done AFC for being invited.

Athansius - where on earth did you get that from? Your post should be struck off. As a concerned shareholder I called AFC in reaction to the SP decreasing and wondering what they were doing to remedy the decline. The response was as expected. Utterly professional and courteous. The SP is out of their hands in many respects. I expressed my frustration at the declining SP and was reminded that the Southern rns was both recent and positive news. Hence my conclusion that the next news event will be linked to the Southern deal. There was nothing more to my call other than to express to AFC that I and many others are concerned about the SP. Nothing more, nothing less. Please refrain from turning this into something else. Everyone else is equally entitled to call AFC but that would distract the team from doing their day jobs. I for certain will not be calling them again as I felt confident that they are all working hard to deliver. End.

However if someone is unloading and someone else is buying them in equal quantities then that's not a bad thing in my eyes.

Exactly DW, people try to confuse and quite why, I fail to understand as us PIs are miniscule in relation to the main investors. I shall be dipping out until news is received. If it helps, I called AFC on Friday in response to the SP dipping further. They watch the SP as much as we do and are just as dumbfounded. I did however get a sense that things are as busy as ever there and the Southern Oil news was reiterated as recent positive news. I'm not sure what I could possibly have gained from calling but I felt happier that I did. I have nothing else to report other than what I've just said. So, a case of knuckle down and let's wait for the next RNS - I suspect it will be an update on the Southern Oil assessment and hopefully follow-on contract.

Feeling decidedly low when it comes to my investment in AFC at the moment. I've been in here with a not insignificant holding since 2010 through many ups and downs. This is the lowest since I invested and it is troubling when so much progress has been made. We have all seen Mr Bond's confident views before when it comes to forthcoming contracts and those outbursts were clearly "fake news" so I remain cautious when it comes to Mr Bond's carrots. I hope our new chairman validated everything that Mr Bond has published in the public realm of late.

Agreed PurpleB. Here we are at possibly their lowest SP in perhaps 9 years (8.3p) yet ironically the company is in a far less risky position than it's ever been (as we now have a working product, whereas previously we had an R&D product).
Like everyone, I very much hope that the Southern sizing piece currently taking place leads to a firm contract in early October.

if we could get confirmation on manufacturing that would:
- provide validation of current design and any future designs could be incorporated without significant change to manufacturing procedures
- provide confidence that the product is ready for sales
- provide validation of the 3rd party is confident that AFC have a viable product that can be manufactured at scale and has a manufacturing location in mind ( I must admit, I had missed the fact that DeNora have identified a location specifically in Germany). It's shame we can't provide a manufacturing facility in the UK but that may come I guess.

So, we know we're likely to get news on the Southern Oil planning activity and a hoped for follow on contract, which should indicate the size of the contract.

Given that we will only receive actual news, I'm just wondering what other news we could likely receive in the intervening period, if any ?

I am now getting the impression that the BoD will not actively publish results on FC performance - 2 year or 4 year (2 year is assumed with the Southern Oil progress) - and this subject will be discussed with prospective customers as they come along, on the basis that each contract will have a differing set of requirements and performance targets ?

As stated, my question was related to how multiple 10kw units will be grouped together now in multiples. There must surely be a way of grouping them together if only to save space and get many more multiples in a set space. I don’t care if it’s called kore or Fred Bloggs I’m just interested in scaling up multiple units. If it’s now a much simpler design then fantastic

Yes of course Kore was a name and the original BoP design was clearly an issue (which Strontium has also pointed out). So yes, a lot HAS clearly changed in this respect. I am merely pointing out that there will be a revised "packaging" as you refer to it, that will group the individual 10Kw units together. Yes, hopefully the design of this has been simplified significantly and will allow the grouping of these 10kw units together to provide the customer with the specific Kw output required for their project. I don't disagree Strontium, the individual 10kw building blocks seems to be the way forward. My point was more around the multi Kw & Mw orders that potentially need to be filled - stacking them together would make more sense than a whole array of individual units. Maybe the stacking of them is far simpler now with simply that.. a room full of shelving with individual 10kw systems connected up - who knows...we certainly don't ! :)
As I alluded to yesterday, we have so much potential newsflow... I just hope we and the market get to hear about it in the fullness of time !

Wouldn't there be efficiencies in terms of BoP if you grouped the units together though, even if it was just to stack the 10Kw units together into a manageable "core" unit e.g. shipping container size ?
