RE: Mike Ashley plots to tighten his grip on Debenhams8 Jun 2025 09:42
"Boohoo has said it is pleased with the progress it is making in its turnaround"
"There were further signs of the struggle facing Boohoo in recent days in data from MediaVision, a market research firm. It showed the company’s share of online search demand had plummeted by 35pc in a year, the worst performance of any major online fashion retailer."
" The approach comes as Boohoo, which is in the process of adopting Debenhams as its corporate brand, holds challenging talks to refinance £175m in outstanding debt against a backdrop of tumbling sales. It reported a 16pc fall in revenues in the year to February."
" Last week, The Telegraph revealed that customers are waiting up to four weeks for refunds, which Clive Black, an analyst at Shore Capital, said was “a sign of weakness”."
Great to know that boohoo are happy with the sickening state of numbers and affairs here.... As I've said they're clowns through and through... And anyone defending them is a clown.
They could not have played this any worse..... Big mike is running things from here on with even being on the board....
