It's typical of how easily led the market is, to believe that the person that buys the assets is the bad guy.... Not the previous board who completely destroyed the business...see below information on the deal when frasers were looking to buy matches.

Oh I agree - there will always be a bottom for revenue and right now we are lookin at having loat half of our revenue from the peak - which in return is leaving the losses in the hundreds of millions. That is not a functioning business.

They binned the ceo immediately and brought in completely fresh meat - go and take a look at the results of that.

The moral of the story here is that 3 years ago Mahmud/Carol should binned of JL, then hired in some big hitters from the city and stood down themselves. We needed a quality chairman and ceo with Mahmud and Carol out of the picture...

Take a look at that - its the last results presented by debenhams before they went bang.

Tell me that isn't full of the same hype and buzz words as this lot are pumping out now!! its uncanny.

Back then Debenhams was doing 2.9 billion gmv with over 520 of that online.

With no store presence and Debs now doing gmv of 650 million online , where is the other 2.25 billion of gmv gone?

Wouldn't one assume that with no stores presence we would have customers flocking online giving us gmv of 1.5 billion by now ??

Ok lets look at the facts to back why I believe youth brands revenue will still be falling heavily -

There as been a 3 - 4 year trend of declining revenue

The decline accelerated in the last full year to over 21 percent

They admit in the last public update that youth brands remain challenging

Plt needed a rebrand (they would not have done this if the numbers were improving and would actually suggest they had worsened imo)

Similarweb show very large declines across the group for June of this year will boohoo down over 13 percent - this in on top a sinking trend witnessed for the last 3 years.

Delayed results and current trading numbers.

To me that suggests the current revenue trend is still falling.

And I won't be surprised if Debs.com gmv is now somewhere undeer 20 percent, and the revenues we receive will be flat - 3l5 percent growth.

Youth brands lost 250 million revenue.

Debs gained 20 million REVENUE.

And you have such confidence in the future younsold at 23p.... You're a charlatan ramping while selling.

When you say youth brands you are talking about 3/4 of the business, we would be left with debs and KM which if we are honest are not really growing spectacularly with uder 10 percent revenue growth.

In both April and May the sp hit 19p before bouncing back to 24p.....im pretty sure the 19p was a new record low (previous low was around 22/23p shortly after ipo)

This week we have hit an all time record low of 16.9 ish pence, it has now bounced to 19.5p. Past history would suggest new lows could easily follow even without results. If results are bad then there will be unbelievable pain for holders.

We still have no news of results or an agm - the agm needs to be held by the end of August with a clear 21 days notice. If they do not hold the agm shareholders can take legal action against the Directors and the company, director can also face penalties. So I would assume this will be announced within 3 weeks.

If the company doesn't release results by the end of August it will be suspended.

Management have lost their credibility, they have lost confidence of shareholders and they have lost all control of the share price needing a 100 percent rise just to get back to when Dan "took over".
