Agree filter, I feel they have been tying together a few more strings to their bow before release of any update. They identified further research they wanted to undertake, so may be seeking to pull this in as well.

Sort of right Ralovatt, Lanstead essentially have already paid 1.5p, it’s all about how much is transferred to NFX.
The below shows how it’s massively in Lansteads interest for the sp to increase over the period of the financing.

Over the full 20 months.

At a constant 1p share price Lanstead would net £275k profit.?
At 2p Lanstead net £550k profit?
At 3p Lanstead net £825k profit.?

They say that it stems from their own internal review, and they think the company won’t be able to satisfy their own internal requirements.

So doesn’t necessarily mean the company is I. The wrong, just Hayes have changed their own position according to new regs.

So the auditor resignation was about the company not being about to satisfy the requirements of the new enhanced audit rules.

They say the company is fine in terms of day to day accounting. Dunno what the score is now re. these enhanced rules

Anyway, on more recent events I am quietly confident that something is going on behind the scenes.
Whilst I think Riddell is old school and plays strictly by the book, I believe this is what was needed and gives us clues.

In January he bought some more with his own cash, yes I accept it wasn't a mind blowing amount he bought, but never the less he did so when he didn't have to.

Then the issue of warrants, again people can grumble at the strike price, but given the quantity and 1.45p exercise price they will need it well above 2 or 3p to benefit. So they aren't doing it just for a quick few pennies.

Why now, when they have all been on board for at least a year without warrants?

I'm sceptical about the Blackwell aspect of booting them out and not having a plan. DT had to go given the Chinese connection of his did a runner after cooking the books at NSB, he also didn't help himself by selling shares and not telling the company.

DG, I feel, stayed on until whatever talks were happening broke down for whatever reason, but Covid wasn't helping. Remember the talks were with multiple parties, not just Kissei (who were never confirmed).

Good point Jiving, AB was good for the company to get it through the inhaler feasibility stage, but clearly saw it as a stepping stone for her return to the UK, this was clear from her slip up saying it was a part time role.

The intriguing point is the recent warrants given to the board. Why after so long did they decide to do so at this point in time?

On the auditor thing, we will find out soon as the companies house filing has to have the reasoning attached.
As Mars said they have to resign through companies house, even if they are being booted by the company they are auditing.

The interesting point though is that the company cannot automatically appoint a new auditor, they can only be appointed following a shareholder vote at the AGM, which for NFX is in August.

So, whilst we wait to hear something…anything, hear are my thoughts on what to look out for.

Near term.

NXP004 - NFX first patent was filed Sept 2020, so (in theory) should be public 18 months after filing. This would mean sometime early March we should get to see what the originator drug is.

Oxilio - should be releasing their accounts end of Feb, interesting to see their cash situation.

NFX board appointments - not sure what might occur there.

Mid term

NXP002- moving into non-GLP lab work, toxicology and final formulation.
NXP004 further IP work.

Longer term

Oxilio - milestones for achieving first trial results.
NXP002 becoming phase 1 ready.
