Just popped in for lunch, good to see some recovery today. Whilst I don't know of this new investor, its always good to have new eyes focus on the company and hopefully any increased liquidity will help the drag queens DT and AC exit quicker.

Just hope this afternoon doesn't see yesterday and todays punters seek an exit before the weekend.

Amazing... the twitter crowd are now trying to say push NFX and Ebers as a Cannabinoid prospect, completely ignoring the company themselves only yesterday saying this avenue was effectively closed.

Some people have no shame.

We know that Oxilio are looking to take a product to Phase 1 clinical in Q3 this year and are currently looking at formulation to achieve this (also fund raising to do so)

NFX are publicly stating NXP001 is phase 1 ready and just needs reformulating.

So for Oxilio to get to clinic they must have something they know satisfies pre-clinical already.

I do like the clause in the Circular that stops the major shareholder (DT/AC/JH/DG etc are known as the ‘concert party’) from buying or exercising shares and making an offer for the company at the 30% level.

I’m optimistic on the Oxilio situation given the info on their website and it’s correlation to info in the Allenby brokers note.

But we’ve all been proven wrong so far, so nothings a given at the minute.

FX, for the past year with little info available it was my assumption that Ebers would solely work on NFX tech. Then, back in January when I dug up the info on them undertaking an RTO into Kelly Ventures on TSX, I found a bit more on their patents which showed they also had tech from another source. I posted this at the time.

At the time I initially thought that they had input the wrong info as the inventor was coincidentally named as David T Joanitis. But digging around I found this was an actual person and there was a company in the States working for Ebers.

I think the posts where I brought this forward were around 14th Jan or sometime then.

We know Oxilio have less than two weeks to take up their option. The best scenario for us is that they do so as this should help instil some confidence back in the company. I'm not that bothered about how much they pay (if they do so) its more about getting the ball rolling again.

If today hasn't allowed DT and AC to get below the 3% threshold then lord knows what it will take to get them out.

chab, fair enough, I may be clutching at straws, but I'm glad at least they've even managed to get some 'paid' research. Its better than before where we had nothing.

I know its not much but tis a crumb.

Filter, completely understand your point, I've reduced my holding because of lack of success. I'm now just glad to see a full research note, something which hasn't been done before for NFX.
As Jiving notes, NFX will have paid for it, but Allenby still have to go through a process to get it together and at least there is some third party oversight.

Page 17 & 29 are interesting.

Page 17 gives a timeline of what they are doing with NXP002 and Page 29 is Allenby valuation of NXP002

"NFX is looking to license the asset before Phase I, in which case we would anticipate a global deal value of between $360-450m, in upfront and milestone payments, plus single digit royalties on sales, increasing in value in proportion to the stage of development of the underlying asset: from feasibility up to the full Phase I ready GLP package, assuming successful outcomes and based on recent precedent."

Page 29 is interesting

For transparency, I halved my holding this morning at a loss, not happy with the situation, but its my decisions that put me in that position, so can take it on the chin.

Quite clear now they are going alone and hoping something will come along. Its a long waiting game.
