whimax, its highly unlikely that IG mirror the spreadbets in reality. They've never appeared on the shareholders register.

There just aren't sufficient buyers for them to sell unless there is news. They have circa 42m shares between them, there's no way PI's can mop that up.

The good thing is they will have reduced a reasonable amount ahead of news, but they will still be selling into strength. It's almost as if they have an ulterior motive.

True, although not a fan of 3% being the reporting base, should really be 1% as it means he will still have 15m shares and we won't have visibility as to whether they are being dumped or not.

Whoever updated Chorltons holding on the NFX website this morning could have held off and updated DT's at the same time.

The fact that they haven’t even bothered to update the website after the research results (and also AC’s TR1) should indicate that there’s more to come. (Or that Blackwell didn’t pass on the Wordpress password)

Well, that was an eventful week to say the least. Hopefully something more constructive over the next few. At least its flushing the sells out prior to any news with meat on the bones.

The main reason is that there is a seller, or number of sellers, causing the downward pressure. You just have to look at this week. The company releases great news, which in earlier times lesser news caused a spike to 14p, and it gets sold heavily.

As I mentioned before, the fact that we have had TR1's for sells but none for buyers (certainly not in a long time). Until the seller dries up, or we have a big buyer taking a stake then it will languish.

Optimistic on Oxilio, but worth noting it was the one item in the recent interims that they said they will update in H1, as opposed to Q1.
Probably will be after Oxilio complete their fundraising round this month.

FX, re. testing on multiple donors. The problem is you have to wait for donors, they are not always available at the right time and there are often not that many. In the UK there were only 2474 registered cases of IPF in the 6 years between 2013 and 2019, so not a large pool to donate.

When they did the first preclinical a couple of years ago, it was delayed a few months for exactly this reason.

So, whilst it may have only been a single donor, the massive plus point is that it was tested on human tissue.

As the recent NXP002 research has for the first time mentioned its effect on 'inflammatory markers' its worth picking up the connection (credit to Offshore for originally picking up on) with ARDS.

Whilst I dont have access to the fill research, the below linked paper from a month ago highlights how this is increasingly becoming a point of interest in treatment of lung injury.

"Of increasing interest is the contribution of inflammasome activation in the context of acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ALI/ARDS)....
...Finally, we will explore translational research moving toward anti-inflammasome therapies for ALI/ARDS and speculate toward future directions for the field."

Should have added, personally I want to see results now.

It was great to see the research results yesterday, I'm more than happy with those despite the lacklustre sp reaction.

Now I want to see NXP004 results, which were due before the end of last year.

They should update on the new IP for NXP004 in comparison with a multi-billion dollar drug.

I want to see them converting Oxilio into a reality which looks as though it should be within their grasp.

I want to see them conclude whatever negotiations have been / are ongoing for NXP002. They won't announce how the discussions are going as that is a sure fire way to scupper the deal and is pie in the sky wishful thinking.
