But given that we had large volume on the placing announcement, I was expecting to see at least one of them TR1 by now.

FX, when you have a broker, they tend to know whats going on behind the scenes before an rns and will influence their clients.

Then, when there is movement, people will jump on in anticipation of news, hence its self perpetuating.

On a non material side note, Ebers have rebranded and updated their website, although still only a one pager.

It’s more likely to be determined as not material as previously NFX and Ebers were targeting at least 9 patents which is probably not the case now. To my knowledge there have been two, maybe three submitted (including the one now public as of yesterday).

It seems likely that NFX have now ceased work on further patents, hence the revenue over the next 12-18 months is not material, I.e they are not expecting any.

They may in time get further milestones and revenues as a result, but it’s not within their control, so have discounted.

Mars, it’s purely coincidence. The patent was always going to be published at this point as its 18 months from filing, that’s the statutory time before publishing.

803799, firstly Oxilio are not looking to raise £20m, that is the valuation of them as a company. We don't know how much they are raising.
As I previously posted, if NFX cancel the placing, then they have to pay all costs and additionals to Allenby as NFX agreed to indemnify them. So imo its not worth cancelling.

Indeed Chab, doubt it will happen.

For those wanting to cancel the placing, they should read the circulars. NFX are indemnifying Allenby for any loss should the placing not go ahead. So to cancel the placing would incur a substantial cost to the company which I don't personally think is acceptable.

They can adjust the terms so that they issue fewer shares but at say 3p, so they raise the same amount of money overall.
So each person partaking still invests the same amount of money, but gets the shares at 3p and not 2p.
Whether they accept that or not would be another question.

"We note that under the terms of the patent NFX has the opportunity to explore additional indications and to seek partners for indications including CINV, dermatology and addiction as well as oncology. We conclude that this is an opportunity to develop data, to carry out research with limited ongoing expense, and providing a source of near term income."

Lost, the £2m is purely on Oxilio's license within Oncology indications.

NXP001 was developed for CINV (Oncology supportive care) which Oxilio are not pursuing, leaving NFX able to license out NXP001 to others on these lines.

I'd rather they still do the placing and have the money to hand. Its better than being in a situation of wondering whether additional cash would need to be raised in the future.
