So clearly yesterday wasn't a great day for the markets. Who knows what today will bring. Amigo might be up, or might drop to 9p, perhaps even 8p (though I doubt that), nobody can claim to have any concrete idea. Regardless, I am extremely confident about the future prospects of Amigo, even more so now given the indications from the FCA regarding access to credit for those that find it difficult to obtain from high street lenders. This environment is perfect for Amigo and this week is just the markets doing what they do. It may be up and down but the future trend , in my opinion, is only going one way. My only concern at present is maximizing my buy in price for future gains - which I have no doubt will come. This is NOT a 9p/10p company long term. When the next few weeks are over and the markets settle it will be multiples of that price. DYOR and GLA! By the way, I'm with @Expru on the future price prospects : )

There are indeed @itisagame. As @Cando66 said, its like a candy shop for anyone that isn't underwater at present.... and I genuinely feel for anyone that is. Hasn't changed my perspective on Amigo one bit. Lowered my average and invested more today. This is a great opportunity.

No, not at all. I am unsure why you would take assumption that from my comment? I simply pointed out how well Amigo was holding up - despite that and despite a dire market opening.

Have you seen how badly the wider market has reacted to the second wave today and how well Amigo has held? This is very positive.

If it goes to 5p @ns20 I'll be selling my wife and kids (is that legal?) to buy more! Lol!

Firstly, @Mark1973 I wish you well and hope that you will return soon. You and Figgy in particular (and many others) have added greatly to this board. Have to admit that my finger was on the button on Friday to sell a percentage of my holding (definitely not all), with a plan to buy back this week at a lower price but resisted the urge and now relieved that I stuck with. Though I do expect a good bit of volatility both this week and following the vote, all signs, in my view, are positive for the future. I do think that an agreement will be reached with the FCA alongside updated policies and procedures that Amigo can offer support to many when lending recommences in November/December. We will be at 50p when that happens IMO. I expect this week to be steady on the back of the information provided by the board - again, I know its not new info but a positive statement and reassuring to hear something from them all the same. Good luck all, we have lots to look forward to I think.

Regardless of whether it is ‘known news’ it is essentially positive i.e not damaging to the share price or sentiment as their previous communication has been. Also might necessitate a response from JB, which also could be positive in terms of share price.

Finally, something from the board! Whilst this is, as others have pointed out, essentially, not new information. The important thing from my perspective is that the board are actively engaging with PI’s and providing some communication with an element of reassurance. This has been what has been missing in recent weeks. A lack of leadership, communication and guidance to reassure shareholders. This is a step in the right direction. Nothing new but certainly positive.

For today, yes, looking like a steady downward trend atm. Next week, and as we approach the vote I suspect things will start to hot up. Still, doesn't make the slow death today any less painful or frustrating. Would be good to go into the weekend on a positive that's for sure.
