Odd got mine through HL Friday morning....check your holding account
Crow well reasoned argument you said .....So low in fact bid talk cannot be far away,,,Who do you think would be in the the offing to make a bid? and how much a share would you be willing to accept?... I'm new here got in at Friday's lows....so anything over 30p would be good for me but i do understand the sentiment of longer term holders....I know i've been stung many times still holding VOD with an average of 116p.....
Hi Jim can't answer the question about the NAV and borrowing more money but what i can say is I've held UKW for a few years now have traded a bit and done quite well on the back of that...During that time they have had 3 share issues so if they are struggling to borrow I can see another issue in the offing......This is only my view so don't take this as gospel....
Crow.....You've got a bigger pair than me.....
FF thanks for that well reasoned summary yep think you hit the nail on the head with a £1.20ish share price bid if one was forth coming......
LOL.....That made me chuckle
Yes your right Hex....If you think this is bad try holding VOD that will make your hair go curly down so much there only good thing is it pays a hefty dividend at the mo....Though that could be cut......
Just landed in HL....And took a punt on CPI big drop this morning hoping for a swift rise.....
Put my money where my mouth is and took a bit of this .....Hoping for a swift rise.....
Fortune favours the brave if you're worried about prices falling i suggest you sell up and put your money in the bank as the market is clearly not the place for you.....
I'm with HL still waiting normally arrive around lunchtime.....Not sure whether to reinvest or go else where....
Well said Dan .....Think most of us are in the same boat....
FF if someone did bid for SOHO would you be willing to sale letting a 10% go or keep hold? I got in here at 52p but after losing CSH recently would be reluctant to let another reit go...P.S if a bid did come in what price would you accept...
FF you did well to get in at 48p...I'm in at 52p like others have said this pays an excellent divi at the mo... I did hold CSH made a tidy some on that when the takeover happened as for SOHO being taken over we will have to wait and see.....
If you think this is bad try holding Vodafone...That will make your hair go curly....
Not sure how this will play out ...I lost my nerve and sold up Friday.....
According to the latest RNS they have around 18% of the shares in the company think they need at least 75% to proceed with the takeover so looks like it ain't going to happen.....I would sell up for 90p a share if they put that on the table...
I sold out at £1.59 a while ago and got back in at £1.48 last week.....Am surprised it's still dropping still have a bit left for this years isa it's a toss up between this and BP
Going to hold on for a couple of weeks in the off chance another bidder comes in.....Don't think that will happen though already have a bit in SOHO So will have a look around and see what's cheap maybe move back into BP if it drops to £4;50 sold out my entire lump at £5.60 one of my better trades
Agree at these prices i wouldn't be surprised of a takeover E& and liberty could join forces then split the group...Question is how much a share will you be willing to accept?
