Morning....Yeah I'm retired as well...Well actually retired this April that's how I managed the isa lump sum with my 25% pension pay out my good fortune was that I got my money just before Trump had his moment and yes you're right bargains were to be had.....I manged to get INVP at 430p have traded these over the years anything under a fiver it's a buy then bale out around the 550p have served me well over the years I wish I could pick more gainers then losers....My number 1 stock is Aviva got in at around 240p during the pandemic have added over the years and am up 40% as opposed to Vodafone where I'm down 41% like I have said you can't win them all....Good luck and catch up soon Spike

Just a follow up. Have a look at UBS Global Enhanced Equity Income fund...Pays an excellent dividend and you get it monthly which is an added bonus....

Morning Squiff.....Had a look at TFIF yeah seems ok may well invest in there at some point have maxed out this years isa so would have to sell to get funds....Got a load of BP at 350p when Trumpy had his moment would be looking to off load over 425p then would have funds to invest elsewhere....

Hi Squiffy....Yep I'm on these picked them up this week funnily enough...Think there's a good up side unless the Orange man throws another wobbly....Also picked up WINC there an Ishares etf as well maybe worth a look dividend is around 9% over the last 12 months obviously that could change but like INCU good potential for an upside....Good luck Spike

Hi Rob yes still very much alive...I said I was the third amigo hoping others would take up the chant of "No I'm the third amigo" Oh well never mind I thought it would have been funny....Anyway like yourself I've just taken early retirement so lot's to do (It's a bit tiring this retirement malarkey) But would recommend to all just need this old donkey of a share to push back up to £1+ then would have to revaluate on what to do do.....

Hi Rob I too sold a chunk of Lloyds this week then pondered on where to put the proceeds sure was tempted to buy more here but opted for Aviva instead....Still trying to figure out way this has dropped so much recently definitely has a great upside guess we'll find out this week
