Anglo investors have all along been unkeen on this takeover thinking Cey a worrying proposition at this price, I think our directors have done quite well for us

Yes the inevitable acceptance, I didn’t even bother to vote as Cey had marshalled the institutional investors who could see it was a good offer, an uplift in share price, or more value in Anglo as you choose. I am pleased with this result, though it appears Anglo shareholders aren’t, thinking they have overpaid although I believe they have a fair deal. I will keep my Cey in the ISA for a while as I hope the market will realise that Anglo has actually got quite a fair deal. I sold 2/3 or my trading account Cey last week, I have bought some Pan American Sikver but also hope many of you like Steve Jones have reinvested in Hoc, I bought a few more Hoc today, and that I may continue to see many of you there.

Yes Mike, just a shame chrome seems to be falling faster than PGMs rising, at least it got us through a sticky period

Yes the dividend will be. I and market happily surprised they made $45m cash this quarter with a large chunk hedged at a considerably lower price and the rest with gold at a lower price, if gold and silver hold at these levels, next year this would be double so $360k less tax etc. So good value and deserve to bounce up

Well done. I am planning to the same if can catch it as well as you this week..What about more silver oriented like pan American silver, hoc is down a bit today but market hasn’t twigged it is only a third silver now and half its output is hedged

3 bear are you in UK with shares outside isa subject to cgt, more than half mine are the non isa ones are currently showing a £230k profit so £46k at 20% but will be considerably more next. I could sell and then buy Anglo but have to wait two days for money to clear and change to dollars? Anyone?

Yes not this year with the big hedges but next if prices hold up and we even get proper silver mining going again with Pallancarta

3 Bear I agree too, and also think that we will be able to partake of a nice uplift in Anglo compared to other miners when they benefit from Cey big cash flow. I am not bothering to vote as seems forgone from the big institutional holders

And unfortunately chromium prices seem down around 15% and falling, from today’s Mining dot com: “Industrial metals slump as sentiment on China demand worsen “. So we badly need a big PGM rise but sadly so far Ilja’s imminent PGM igniting post from September: “Conclusion – A rise in PGM prices across the board is fairly imminent. Ruthenium could be the initiator for other PGM prices to ignite” yet to happen. Hence the gentle share price fall (so far only around 20% tho profit presumably will be hit more). I am hanging on for the long term as I did with Centamin and Hochschild but as with those two hit by circumstances it could be a few years’ wait. The management seem good albeit the company blow their own trumpet or share price attraction a bit much, while threatening other posters who pull out, and the share already has few enough trades, though of course I will be the first to be very happily surprised if they prove right and pgm’s soar and make up for the Chrome falls to keep us ticking over and even maybe…maybe…one day Karo viable. Hopefully gold may drag others up a bit too, and Karo now near 20% gold and Tharisa mine’s most important metal is now platinum with rhodium tumble. All imho

Cey Share price still tracking Anglo, a couple of pence behind it, with Anglo up over 3% in premarket the bid is now worth $1.65. Anglo profits will seriously benefit from Cey success and I for on think it is way undervalued so we may actually do quite well hanging in.

Get the shares a little cheaper through buying Cey, plus NR guaranteed profit buying Cey selling Anglo, so I think Anglo will rise once bid through

Autonomy. I think the offer is what it is and will go forward

Clued, I notice yours is the last post on the near dead Anglo board. In it you say what high hopes Zacks has for Anglo this year so are you hanging in here?

I think I missed something, I thought there was a takeover bid for our company but not a mention of it in today’s results, maybe the board have forgotten it with such amazing figures: . Gold production up 30% gold sold up 44% combined with rise in gold price and fall in aisc free cash flow up an amazing 730% . Looks like could be selling 500k oz at $1500 an ounce profit less the 52.5% profit share and royalty = over £250k profit??
