The spread is a joke today with the low volume - 7.55% - who is going to buy when you are immediately down 7.55%.......

Come on, make a market and tighten that spread up a bit...........

The govt chose to buy millions of the LFT tests that have a 76.6% false positives - so a quarter of people who have the test will get a negative result despite having covid.

Thus, govt sticking in a test they know is 25% inaccurate (and likely to be lower in a non-medical situation) at picking up someone with covid was certainly an interesting move.

There is a new generation of LFT's that will be more accurate from 2021, but for now, only test they can get in bulk is the Innova one.

Not everywhere can have a POC test, thus LFT's will have there place in the world, just not sure a care home is the place!

To start off with, the Innova test has from Porton Down, a 79% accuracy. - the official figure on the govt is 76% so basically, 25% of people who have covid will not get picked up.

Then couple with being swabbed wrongly etc, then I can understand a 50-60% accuracy rate.

To you points:
1. I have not seen any results on Mologic but presumably it as at least comparable and you would hope better!
2. I would agree with that statement - though the home use I am sure also dropped about 20% but started from a higher accuracy point

- 1/2 yearly that a lot of us were nervous about base don previous presentations impact to SP
- the first vacine in the UK being approved

I will take a near 20% rise in a week - another next week would be nice to get us to 66.9%

100% agree - we have gone from last Friday close (46.51 to today's 55.75) Compared to other covid stock we have done pretty good:

ODX - rose from 46.51 to 55.75 (with a low of 41 on Monday!)
NCYT - dropped from 797 to 750
AVCT - rose from 118 to 127.26
GDR - dropped 57.01 to 50.90

The Med-Tech News article states:

The RNS posted by Omega 17th November stated:
"The UK-RTC press release announces that Abingdon Health ("Abingdon") has received confirmation from the US Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") that Abingdon has completed the notification process under the FDA's Policy for Coronavirus Disease Tests During the Public Health Emergency ("the Policy")."

Therefore, it already has been RNS'ed - the article is a story, but a couple of weeks old.

The CIGA tweet was rampy as feck and while it helped our SP, the fact is there is no order for billions, the consortium does not have capacity to make billions.

Colin has said 150k to 200k per week of a capacity of @2m - that is 10% of our capacity - I would rather use that as our guide.

Mologic test is the biggy for us - UKRTC will be for sometime only 10% of our production - 10% - the antigen test is expected to be good - Mologic are using optimets from Aptamer Group, an alternative to Avcta group affirmers. Less specific but more or less the same. Give Mologic a substantial competetive edge that was not there before vs AVCTA - think we will all be happily surprised about the Mologic test which will be a large % of our production......

This is nothing to do with us - its an antibody LFT test (more like what ODX are doing). If you look at the sensitivity etc it is pretty low and not yet approved by the FDA - under evaluation.

Nothing like GDR tests which are Antigen and not LFT!

You are correct - the Mologic test is all three. It is believed that saliva is best, but because of the impact of food and drink, that can impact the result - because of that, it will be nasal but can also be used as saliva with no changes aside from where you stick the swab!

Exactly this - we know the numbers (and we dropped from
the 90’s to the 70’s on the day of release 28th Oct).

Tmw should be confirming but more importantly, an opportunity to update investors, though the derampers will be talking utter rubbish!

agreed - the situation is:

Glasgow have a Lamp test that can test for Covid / Flu / RSV - Mologic have been brought in to look to turn that into a LFT test.

Omega may get to manufacture but that is some months away but be a nice brucie bonus if we get it, but thats a bug if!!

They released the trading details in October for trading up until 30th September - we pretty much know what they will be so its all about the forward looking statement.....

if ODX didn't think they would sell the UKRTC tests, I doubt that they would continue to manufacture the test do you!!

Relax Twatcher - govt takes time, don't move exactly how you want when you want - it will come, lot more going on than we will be aware of as per what Colin has intimated several times.

100% agree - tbh, this govt UKRTC is a gift and a curse, noticeably Colin seems more excited about the Mologic test - the UKRTC test means you are at the whim of govt policy and as we have seen with BMJ / Guardian can be used as political point scoring - lets have this as our foundation, with Mologic antigen as the biggy in all senses...........
