Being played since the 10th of November? There has been a fairly continual & consistent rise since the lows at that point. A little up and down maybe, but an upwards trend on the whole.

I'm moving on up now, getting out of the darkness.........

Yes I feel sorry for myself as well, although my investment is nothing to do with any rampers to be fair, it's all my own fault.

£2.20 is as good as guaranteed I'd say, either before the end of this year or early next. I am happy at that level with a superb dividend to allow re-investment.

£2.50 is my target but longer term into the second half of next year or so, could go higher than that over the longer term next 2 years or so.

Just my opinion based on all factors though, good luck guys.

For what it's worth, I think there is something happening here, but what it is ain't exactly clear.

First of all I will clarify that I am a holder and I did not see this kind of drop coming, obviously if I did I would not be here now or potentially would be looking to buy, however I am where I am, and unfortunately, that means sitting with a large paper loss at the moment.

My question to all those far more knowledgeable than me is - do any of you think the company can actually go bust?

With my limited knowledge, I see this as highly unlikely, but I would be interested to hear other perspectives.

No holder wants to see the price sitting where it is, but as long as the company continues to trade, surely there must be some sort of recovery on the horizon at some point, even if that is only a partial recovery? I need to get to just over £1 to break even, which currently is looking unlikely, but longer term who knows. I am sure there are people in worse situations than me who require a higher price, so my second question is - if it does start to recover, what do people believe is a realistic target price?

The only thing I can do for the moment is sit on my hands and wait, hoping that things improve.

And back to £2.07 today Seen_it, it has been up and down a bit recently, but it's held above £2.02 since the start of November, so that's already an improvement. With the new this morning and the better outlook regarding interest rates, etc. it should hold above £2.05 now.

£2.20 on the way over the next few months, £2.50 by middle of next year at the latest in my opinion.

My thoughts are that they would have had to announce a proposed fund raise in the same RNS if it was indeed required, if they are committing to spending cash.

Also to answer your insane question - no I am not a shorter, I am a holder of just over 100k shares, small in comparison to some, but not insignificant, so I truly hope and believe that at some point Val will have success. I do not and have never claimed to be anywhere near as knowledgeable as most on here, but I have done enough research to make my decision that this company is a place I am happy to be invested.

Please also note - you are 100% correct, I no longer believe you are Porky. Whilst I disagree with Porky and I do believe he has an agenda and wants the share price to drop, for whatever reason, I also believe Porky has some intelligence and therefor cannot be Share4. I have no vendetta against Porky, he wants the price to drop, I want it to rise, that's just the way of the world and a differing opinion, but I can and I am within my rights to question that and his motivation for wanting the price to drop.

But Share4, the real question is not whether I am a shorter, it is whether you are or just a troll?

You claim to have no holding, you back Porky to the hilt and talk down the company and anyone who supports it, so clearly you would also like to see the share price drop.

I do not troll boards where I have no shares, stake or interest and abuse people for no real reason, that is your game mate.

Thanks for the response, but yes I do already know all of that, both from previous RNS issues and from your posts stating your views, but you did not answer why they have not already put a proposal forward, given it would be advantageous to do so at these levels (6 weeks to now).

"This means that VAL need to talk to Turner Pope get a placing agreed" - correct and if the company are in such a bad place that funds are desperately or imminently required then this will have already happened and either way would not take more than a week or so to box off.

" in principle say 20m shares at 4p to raise £800k and then prepare resolutions schedule an EGM giving 14 days notice and put the proposal forward." - all of this, as you quite rightfully say, will take time, so why would they not have already put this in place and floated the idea to shareholders, given the imminent drop in share price that is coming as you see it?

You are clearly not daft Porky and all of your post could indeed be true, but if it was/is, then why have we not seen a placing before now? Surely you agree it would not make sense to allow the share price to drop prior to floating the placing?

That is what I am interested in your opinion on, not why the placing would be required - you've stated that already, nor what approval is required (that's in previous RNS).

Maybe the last reply wasn't that clear or maybe the horses mouth part confused you, I do apologise, but you do seem to get confused quite easily. For clarity - I have no interest in your opinion on the matter, I was interested in Porky's opinion, given he stated on several occasions that a placing is imminent, so you see, whilst I do always love to hear from you, there really is no need for you to keep continually replying on his behalf, it doesn't get us anywhere and it does not serve any purpose.

Yes, his opinion is important to me on this issue, as he has been advising for months that a placing is imminent, so I was interested to get his perspective.

I'd be interested to know your opinion on why has the placing, that you have been saying for months is imminent, has not already taken place? Surely if there was going to be a placing the board would table this when the share price was as high as possible, that way securing the best value and the best chance that any resolution would be passed by the shareholders? Why would they wait for the drop that you and many others also believe is imminent to table the resolution? This would give far less chance that it would pass and far less chance that they would secure any value.

Could it be that they have information that we/ you do not and that a placing is not required at all? Would you not say that there is equally a chance that this is the case?
