Aye weather forecast looks no bad Ice, bit cloudy up here in Scotland mind you.

I am still fairly heavily invested here (by my low standards) and I am still very confident that there is a great deal of scope to move north of the current price, albeit it is taking longer than expected.

Looks to be some movement today in the right direction which is extremely encouraging though.

Anyways, I just like to post here every few months to keep myself company.

As far as I am aware the dividend is confirmed and agreed, unless I am missing something.

I've added to my holding today as well at just below £3, I don't see it staying at these low levels for long (just my opinion though). I am firmly of the belief that the uncertainty about the pay deal and any possible action is what is holding it down where it is. When a deal is done in this respect (and a deal will be done of that I have no doubt), then the price should start to move up fairly quickly in the right direction again.

I had feared there may be a fairly big drop this morning, but thankfully it appears my fears were unwarranted! I didn't think it was a bad RNS to be honest, again I feared the worst when I read some of the comments, but when I went through it in detail, my opinion was that nothing has really changed and hopefully we are still on track.

I'm in! I have been hovering around here for a while now reading the posts and doing a little research and I have now decided to jump in, it may not be the very bottom yet, but I am confident over the long haul.

I fancy Royal Mail as a good mid-longer term prospect, whilst I appreciate there are some issues at the minute, the fundamentals all still look favourable to me (compared with pre-pandemic levels), so I think the share price has scope to move in the right direction.

There are clearly far more knowledgeable people on this board than me with respect to this company and I don't claim to be an expert, but I do have a good feeling about this share, if the pay issues, etc. can be resolved.

Good to read all the interesting input, both good and bad, so keep up the good work lads - it's an education.

Because it's on 25%, Val has been up (and down) more than 25% in a single day on numerous occasions, all those that have been here a while will have seen large swings in either direction. It may mean something, it may mean nothing, hopefully there is substance behind the move, but it's moved several times in the past and there hasn't necessarily been anything behind it other than a rise in the buy demand.

To be honest it had drifted way too low anyways for no real reason, it should never have dropped below 28p level in my opinion based on sell levels.

OB, both sorry to hear about the issues your family are facing, but also delighted to hear you all had a great day. Sounds like you have some truly inspiring and brave people around you and I wish all of you the best. You come across as a really decent bloke yourself to be fair, so I am sure your family are lucky to have you.

Like you say it is nice to be invested in something that could potentially make a real difference to peoples lives in the future.

A reasonable bit of buying and demand this morning, hopefully this is the beginning of the upward trend.

I still think this is very undervalued and when things settle we should see a further rise.

The sun is shining on Petrofac today though, hopefully just the start of new contract awards!

Doesn't look like it given the way the share price is dropping Spiros, but hopefully it will encourage the buyers to re-emerge and buy in at the lower price. Let's wait and see.

You're still a big hitter in my eyes simply due to the time you have been here, what you have seen and the knowledge you have of the company. I for one always enjoy reading your posts and I am grateful of your input.

I have only been here a short time in comparison to most - Since early 2020 (admittedly selling and buying back on a couple of occasions), but for some time I have had a good feeling about this share/ this company and I plan to hold and see it through, whatever the next few weeks/ months/ years bring. There may be more ups and downs ahead, but I am adopting your £2.36 target ;) and I do believe all will come good eventually.

Anyways all the best to you and all the long termers, I really hope things come good for you and us all.

I'll take that be and I'll give £100 to charity if the share price gets anywhere near 35p! I think my money is safe though, unfortunately for the charity. I would be interested in seeing your reasoning/ calculation/ basis on how you arrived at 35-40p.

My opinion (for what it's worth), is that we will see a slow increase to at least 60p of the course of this year and then further beyond that towards £1 over the course of the following 2 years.

You'll get good value on the short though, if your confident, so bash on.

A little bit resistance at 34p with sells, we need one of the big guns (Ice, OB, Rightback?) to come in and buy a wedge to push it up beyond!

So no calculation then, just your finger in the air. The drop to 20p, it could be argued, was at least in part associated with the general drop in the markets due to the events in Ukraine and is not a true reflection of the actual real value the share price should currently be at and this has also not been allowed within your "calculation". Prior to the war in Ukraine we had held steady between 25-32p generally on the higher side as well, I would see this as the point to calculate any drop from, not the very lower end of the scale you have used.
