I think RSP are still in a very strong position and the gradual rise will continue this year and into next. I suspect 80p before the end of this year and moving up to £1, possibly higher in the early part of next year. All in my opinion of course, but the fundamentals are all there.

This must be one of the quietest boards there is!

We are looking good now and moving steadily in the right direction fingers crossed for around 80p before the end of the year if not higher! Solid company and only going one way!

It was only a matter of time! The comeback has started, confidence is returning to the markets and it should be a steady (maybe slightly bumpy) rise from here to £4.50 or so. I would think that level is likely to be achieved by the middle of next year if not sooner. Oil isn't dead yet, not by a long way!

It all seems very quiet at the moment, the share price hasn't really moved much in either direction for a while, it seems to take a small rise as if it is about to move, then just tracks back to where it was.

Hopefully an update with some decent news and we can start moving again. I still think there is massive potential here and it is a sound, solid company to invest in.

Oil ain't going anywhere for a long time, especially in the emerging economies, they won't be going green any time soon. Everyone seems to focus on what the UK and the US plan to do in the way of renewables, but forgets that all the emerging nations will be burning through gallons of oil for some time to come (as indeed will the UK and the US to some extent). Renewables may well be the future, but it will be oil and oil money that funds there development until the point they become viable.

My personal opinion is that we are about to turn a corner shortly and slowly begin to rise again. Am I saying it won't drop any further - no, no one can predict that. But what I am certain of is that the price now is an absolute bargain, so long as you can afford to hold. BP will rise again, of that there is absolutely no doubt, it simply is just a matter of time. If you are looking for a quick buck, then I fear this is not the place to invest, however if you have the cash to spare and you can afford to leave it for as long as it takes, then BP is just about the safest bargain out there in my opinion. My prediction is £4.50 before the middle of next year, but this is only a prediction, it could be sooner, it could be a lot longer, but it will happen at some point. Buy now and thank me later, but only if you can afford it.

BP will recover, they always do - as will the markets in general eventually. As long as you invest money you don't need right now and are happy to wait, then this is about as safe a bet (and bargain) as you can get. The share price will recover to a minimum of £4.50, I estimate by the middle of next year. It could be sooner or it could be a whole lot longer, years even, the only one sure thing is that it will recover. Renewables, whilst they are most likely the future, are not taking over anytime soon and there is still a great deal of money to be made in oil. That's my opinion for what it's worth and I remain confident. As I say if you can afford to wait and don't need your cash now, then this is a grade A bargain and you should pile in as much as you can possibly afford!

Been in here a good while now and seen many ups and downs. I don't see it dropping much more and hopefully heading back up next week, but hey what do I know, there are many on here far more knowledgeable than me! My thoughts are that 30p is around a fair price for us at the moment until further news is received and I would hope we would rise to 25p close today and back up toward 28-30p next week. Fingers crossed!

I'd say that's very conservative over the longer term, RPS are a very well run, profitable company, who still have a great deal of work on the books. It should really be sitting at far higher than it is currently and with future potential at 90p - £1.20 in my opinion. In the shorter term, I would expect the price to rise to mid 50s to 60p over the next month or so.

All in my opinion of course.
