i think they already ****ged milkwood off when reporting that their contact could be reduced to them being informed that milkwood wanted to buy more cheap shares and force the sale of all assets and acquire the listing.

As I said, unless Nanoco are lying, Milkwood wish to sell all assets in order to acquire the listing. This implies any price. I doubt they have any analysis beyond that, why do you think they do?

Unlikely they would get the votes to get to freeload onto the board. They would offer no value to the board or shareholders, they want a fire sale at any price. Any price because they want the assets disposed so they can use the listing for their own purposes. Better to carry on for 3 years in the perhaps foolish hope of licensing deals with TP vison/TCl/Aleida and small supply agreements with Emberion and Imec (who Liam has a linkedin interest in).

If the guy who owns all these socks could just get rid would make this board a lot easier to read, less sewage to wade through.

Don't think 6 % will be enough to get 2 seats at the table. Going to get them reps as di$kheads more than shareholder activists if they don't buy more.

CDX and new ceo have american flavour and suggest to me that Cable car have had a more constructive influence than the Milkwood strategy of sell it all for any price cos there is no plan B.

It is possible that this is what they are attempting. If Kooba is correct that stm spent 300M on QD dev work then Runcorn overheads would be peanuts to the customer of the asian customer and runcorn could be there hansol. I don't think nano would get a massive amount of cash out of such a transaction though.

What commercial opportunities do you think fall within the 'whole business' if the trading business and its IP is sold?

It could only be patents and what price a trading business without complete ownership of the IP?

How do you do both. IS he saying plan A and Plan B or something else. One of those sentences where an "and/or" would have been very helpful.

I think your feeling that there isn't a ready buyer is probably going to prove correct, no friends and family share buyers have given us the sign with an uptick in the sp. The founder could step forward temporarily to ceo, probably will feel some responsibility. The other issue is what is going through their heads regarding a cash return, details of which to accompany results.

Think Xenon posted a link to a sensors related research council funded project involving Emberion and Samsung with nanoco as the QD supplier.

Plus cash so 30p if they sale completes July 2025. I don't know, i might be recalling incorrectly but didn't the hamoodi court papers show that samsung had offered 70m usd to buy the co which nano had considered derisory. I don't know what they would consider a respectable offer

I'd guess from Kooba's update that the capital return prior to any sale is Milkwood. What are people thinking, 4m as a 2p dividend, leaving the business funded for 2 years beyond July 2025 if there is no sale?

And on the sale any guesses on the level of offer the company won't find unacceptable? If Dr P still has about 12m shares, then a 50m offer and the rest of the cash back should see him at least semi-retired.

It's a badly laid out rns, didn't pay for an edison to try and and make it make sense either. And language like possibly selling the trading business of the company rather than selling the company really doesn't help. Returning cash though doesn't sound like building up a war chest for litigation - though they have not said what happens to the cash from any sale of the damned trading business.
