Hope so JohnDoe_23,
I've already set my Sell on those for £18.00. I'm sitting on some that I've paid more for and am happy to do that for a while longer.
Most of my portfolio is rather more secure funds and dividend-paying shares.
I set aside 0.2% of that portfolio two years ago to "have a go" at trading and see how I fared.
Just over two years ago actually (April 2017).
I didn't intend trading Prism; I just believed it would grow (still do), but the volatility invited it and I have to concede that I was very lucky.
I also bought into UKOG with the intention of trading and did even better with that, although it hasn't done much over the last year and I fear my fun with those shares may now be over.
Bought UKOG after the gold-rush began at £0.03 and sold the next day at £0.085.
I've also bought them back at one price (forget how much now) and, as I was setting my resale price, it achieved it while I was typing and before I'd hit the button. So I made 20% in less than one minute.
So my 0.2% 'fun' portfolio is now 10% of my regular portfolio.
I re-balance it by channeling 50% of all its' profits back into my regular portfolio, so I will never have to walk away with nothing.
The rest rolls on, although I'm getting a bit cautious of trading now.
I've been lucky so far.
Whatever happens I'm in profit and I can't lose anymore, but it'd still be nice not to lose anymore.
;o)
