Queen were on a US tour the last I heard.
Not sure if it's still going on but they do not have a say on the U.K. govt. anyway..

Also, the Queen hasn't been able to dissolve Parliament until the end of the five year term, since a law was passed in 2011 requiring the govt. to achieve a 2/3 majority vote.
That would then enable the govt to ask the Queen to dissolve Parliament and call an election.
Generally it is for the govt. of the day to request the Queen call an election.

I also bought in this morning at 1.3p, just before it fell to 1.24p.
But that often happens as I try to buy and sell in the middle of a range.
Still, I would've preferred to buy at 1.24.

Nope.
I was expecting to buy these shares to hold.
But they went through 10p before I even got involved (I remember this happening overnight, two years ago, but some have said this could not have happened on that time-scale. I may have been wrong. Whatever, I am just happy to have made a lot of money from an "accident").
I had a preset Sell order posted for 10p in place but wasn't expecting anything like that.
I always have excessive advance orders (Buy or Sell) in place, just in case.
This was one of my first ever "trades" and purely by co-incidence it execute and I found myself having taken advantage.
I don't like it when an SP shoots up too high anyway and would likely have sold as soon as I saw it.
I have posted the story many times on this board.

I have since traded many time but not to this level (although I did once achieve 20% in 1 minute, which I think was last Jan).
Since this event I have also started another strategy for UKOG, which involves holding more shares for longer in the hope of much bigger return.

My first involvement with UKOG was at 3.2p and sold at that time for 10p.
Been trading it ever since, although less frequently of late.

Hoping to sell half quickly this week.
Then see where things go for the rest.
I still have less optimism than most here.
I sold UKOG last Oct for +2p and there was no rig / planning meet.

I'm told there is an issue with the Buy/Sell indicators on this site.
Depending on where the actual price is at the time of the trade on this site, Buys can appear as Sells and vice versa.
I don't understand why the LSE would permit that to continue.

For the sake of visibility and awareness;

As I've said elsewhere this morning, I have no UKOG shares to sell myself at the moment and the range is too high for me to buy currently.

But I also invest for my 86 yr-old Father and bought him UKOG shares on 27July @ 0.95p.
I just sold half of those at 1.2p.
I feel the probability is now in favour of them going higher, but I didn't want him to have the same risk level as I accept.
25% isn't bad for his portfolio after just 7 weeks*, so I've taken profits in case Wednesday does throw up any problems.
*He's usually happy with 4% over a year anyway!

Like me, he has his remaining shares for a long-hold.
