Manifesto. HE1 has absolutely sold more than half of the company in precent placings. Those investments made an absolute mint. I think more generally we need more information about the Blue Star transaction.

Manifesto. Why do you think that BlueStar would be prepared to hand around waiting for HE1 to complete the EWT before agreeing to investment from HE1? Opportunity knocks?

Don't get me wrong - this was a complete curveball for me today. I didnt see it coming. But I'm not convinced it isnt a good idea. It has an immediate impact on the SP of course but for what - a few weeks until the next EWT? If the final EWT results are poor then OK we have an issue but that would have been the case anyway.

Stu - that just indicates you don't understand running a long term concern like a listed company. Like I wrote - this investment in Blue Star has risk but if it generates 1.5m a year v an 8m up front investment - that's really good business. It's also a low ball estimate assuming Blue Star get into production. Don't forget HE1 will take a 50% interest so that will flex with the commercial value. It isnt fixed at the estimate of 1.4m/pa.

Also - Reserved is right. This investment deal must have been being worked in the background for a long time. No way have they deliberately done this to hedge against poor EWT results. If anything todays 'partial' EWT results de risk the impact of the placing and that's why the sp hasn't fallen to the placing price.

It's a longer term view and I think it shows confidence and the agility to see an opportunity and grab it.

Checking the math. Not sure you get one horse for a pony. But if it can do tricks!!!!

EWT isnt finished. They didnt have to RNS these partial results at all.

1.5m a year for 8m investment is good business. You need to multiply it by about 10 to understand the commercial value on a longer term basis. There are many other factors but it's a great return and one that could grow significantly over time.

There is of course risk in Blue Star as an un tested production enterprise.

John389 - The funding RNS announcement timing is completely nothing to do with the EWT RNS timing. Blue Star have suspended trading because of it so it had to be announced. It will have been worked on for months.

Today's partial EWT RNS actually hedges the sp risk and stops it falling to 1p.

Today's EWT RNS is only a partial story and a very positive one. This time last year we didnt even know if there would be any helium in from this drill. There is volume and it flows. We will need to see the rest of the EWT results to really understand what it all means.

Company is marching on. I'm very interested in the reasons behind the investment in Blue Star. They will have been working on this for a long time so it isnt just whim or a decision just to cover the risk of Itumbula not working out. In my view it might be about generating revenue for further investment but need to understand more. Perhaps things will become more clear later this week when Blue Star announces its side of the deal.

I think the reading of this today by many was that the EWT results have been spoilt by the fund raise RNS. However I expect the fund raise RNS, because it is linked with another regulated third party, was one thing that they absolutely could not delay and the partial EWT results somewhat de risk that message - so the other way around.

Apart from the fact that this is specifically mentioned in todays RNS.

It takes months to work put buying an interest in another company. So no way does today fund RaiSe RNS have anything to do with the EWT being off.

The EWT looks superb at this stage. Remember they said the helium shows were stronger as they dogged deeper into the fault zone.

I don't think it's odd activity. It just looks like LSE software couldn't keep up and isnt showing a load of trades. They are very visible on the intraday chart elsewhere.

TallPaul - also - please show me the correlation between Minchin buying shares and the success of the company? He couldn't even deliver a drill contract!

There is no correlation between a BOD member buying shares and the success of the company. The evidence just doesnt support that argument.

TallPaul - so what you are saying is that the reason they would initiate a raise during an EWT and before the EWT results are announced is because they know the NOMAD. But every Board of every company know's it's NOMAD?

I think what you are trying to say is that you want to scare holders by pretending there is going to be a fund raise when in actual fact it cannot happen because you cannot raise without disclosing current share sensitive business first. No NOMAD would allow that because they don't want to go to jail.

I don't think that it is just the last auction so it isnt necessarily going to be close to what was happening at the end of trading. But I have miss stepped because I'm no expert on how it gets worked out but on volatile days they always tend to be around the middle of the days range.

How do you initiate a raise during an EWT process before the results are issued to the market? How does that get past the NOMAD?

The UT price is generally a reflection of the entire days trading rather than what happened at the end of the day.

If we don't get the EWT RNS on Tuesday morning ( I reckon it's about a 20% chance of it landing - more likely the following Monday) then expect he SP to challenge this weeks again. It's completely expected for punters to de risk ahead of a BH weekend especially if there is a risk of a climactic RNS on the next working day. I de risked by selling third, which wasn't hard to justify considering the profit made this week. I am still in for a great RNS if it comes.

That's right Baron. The UT is a mixture of the current price at dawn compared to the future price at dusk. That future price must be massive to get to 7.1. Pass my regards to your butler for doing a fine job.

It was tempting. I sold a third of mine today because like so many - after such a great week it felt crazy not to take profit before the weekend. Very nearly bought that third back again before the bell but will sleep better with some cash on the side.

Stellar week IMHO.
