I don't think these Instagram posts have anything to do with the actual progress or otherwise. Just intended to maintain a social media presence and that is that.

Many many ways to 'forward sell' the shares.

If it was me and I had £7m shares coming on Friday and but they were magically worth £10m if I sold them now, I would sell the lot and I think more or less everyone would (people with that sort of money do not need to dream about multi bagging!!). I would also sell the lot before the EWT results because why take a risk on a value that has no risk at all?

So to me it's clear that the placing shares are no longer in the game - all done last week for a very healthy profit.

Sharebel. We have all been through the whole - forward selling is illegal - learning curve. It isnt. It should be but it isnt.

You can work it in a similar way to a short or any other way that suits as long as you cover the risk of the placing not going ahead. In this case the chance of the placing not going ahead are virtually zero because no vote was required. So unless Blue Star pulled out before the placing was completed - which they clearly did not - there was virtually no risk to the placee.

Like shorting - it should be illegal but it isnt.

Putting this up again. Forward selling is not illegal. Forward selling without the ability to settle any associated financial commitments is a breech of financial regulations. As long as you can cover the potential loss you can forward sell placing shares.

All regulated entities are required to risk assess transactions and out in place suitable measures to cover those risks. and in this case Cornhill went ahead without having assets to back the eventuality that the placing did not go ahead. If you have capital to cover this potential loss then you can forward sell.

I just can't see where the 100m and 2 x 50m trades came from last week if they were not placement shares being flipped. That's just me. No TR1 required as they didn't/don't hold the shares - forward sold.

Well I think flipping £7m for about £10m last week would have been good business. Not for anyone else to telly what's a lot of money to you but £3m profit for very little risk is in my view compelling even for the most optimistic placee.

To be fair the current price is an excellent return on the placement price. When it's millions the profit margin is far more meaningful. Nobody know for sure if the holder intends to sell or, part or none before EWT results. IMHO I reckon the placement shares were all shifted last week.

I think they should also work on the punctuation. I worry about suffocating before I finish that paragraph. Maybe some full stops, paragraphs and bullet points to enhance the absolute drivel.

Agassi. I take it you are ignoring the 100m, 50m and the other 50m trade this week and then all the other likely placee trades this week. The placing is likely done apart from anything they want to take into the next RNS.
