Luckily c50% of shares are in William barker and povsens hands. I don’t see it being a danger here. It’s quite well protected by powerful backers. The last bid at around £10 was flat out rejected by the bod no doubt with the investors backing. This will be properly valued in time.
MA to get another 20% shares would be nearly impossible without the SP going astronomical as the free float would be pretty much gone..
Yeah, I agree with some of the reasons. Revenue is still there though and expected to grow and surpass in time. It is leaner and working on its profitability as a result. When the cycle turns this will rise, the next lot of execs will come in, investors will get bullish and feel invincible and the same will happen again and it will drop. That’s what always happens in these shares. Rinse and repeat.
Barker buying, as you say can be a bit of a barometer. He knows the ins and outs. However he could be buying readying up for FY25 and believes the company is well on track with the turnaround. If thats the case this will fly in time. Ooosh :)
Yeah I agree. We aren’t expecting amazing things here, as long as we are inline with expectations and the turnaround remains intact. I.e. stock reduction, where are we up to with that? Hopefully the majority of the last 16% is cleared. Cash generative, reducing debt. I’d be well happy with all that.
Hi Knowbody, completely forgot about the email I got from IR in January when I asked them about the rumours of the Jan trading update. March it is:-
Hi xxxxx
Thank you for your message, Happy New Year.
The next trading update will be as per the RNS, in March.
Please let us know if you have any further questions at this stage.

Another slight short reduction.
We can’t seem to get out of this downtrend which begun at the start of the year, lower highs and lower lows barring the mid Feb jump to kiss 400. It’s clearly all leading to the mother of all bull runs 😉
Good points Eric. Yeah general market rerate. We’ve been waiting for that since 2011 lol.
Dmytro is an exceptional candidate in all fairness on the face of it, working for sweco, and leading teams in environmental consultancy work. Quick look at sweco and it is a huge business with 20,000 employees, nearly 2 billion in revenues etc. he’s not just another duck egg but he has actual credentials, which we aren’t really used to let’s face it. A poisoned chalice it has been though yes. Good luck to him. He needs to be able to deliver the environmental permit applied for in budget and on time that is the biggest challenge.
