the shops need to reduce their operational costs so the same prices can be offered in store. Imo it will take time but get there. the other strategy is also not to offer discounts like zara

admittedly the size and scale of shops need to change to reflect a larger internet operation, but shopping is the uk's favourite hobby and go to any high street or retail park on a Saturday and it reflects this. I cant see a future where people sit in their house and never leave. there's got to be balance

agree on the rising profits and oil price. I think that is being undervalued with constant historical comparisons when the oil price was much lower

agreed academy, but when I'm looking at the director deals at 527 in January I'm thinking there's more of a chance this price is going up with a dividend in the not too distant future

to be honest I can see it sinking sub 1300 again, which IMO is nowhere near the value. Going to be a waiting game

Bluelight, Im probably bias because Id like to see the shorts get burnt on this one, but if I was a fund manager thinking as the ex dividend moves closer I could possibly get a 10% rise on the sp out of this plus my dividend, its a tempting prospect

bluelight, have you considered that if there were to be any fines and again this is speculative and I don't see it myself, that these would kick in after the ex dividend date sometime in the future if it drags on? So in the short term as that divendend date approaches there will be a lot of upward pressure on the sp

Any possibility of 350p is looking slimmer by the minute. Was expecting a much bumpier ride on this share but seems to have stabilized. When you put it into context and look at BP's deepwater horizon balls up, the recent news on this share is chicken feed. GLA for the imminent rise whether it be a day or a week!

But he would only get the chance to do this if Debenhams are not able to secure a traditional banking facility and I haven't seen any reason yet that this is off the table. The next few weeks are going to be a rollercoaster on this share
