DX have 6 months from year end to submit figures.. so by the 2 Jan 2022.If it goes past that there are late filing penalties although they are next to nothing for a company of DX size. The longer it goes on the worse it reflects on DX and it's telling that Grant Thornton couldn't tell DX when the audit will be done even this week. Although I think the current share price is good value I think we are in for a period of stagnation until we have some details on the financials. Kind of frustrating when the opportunities with those stocks trashed because of supply chain sentiment are starting to become a little tasty.

Been buying again today. By any metric SCS are substantially undervalued. Interested to see the plans of the new boss and what they plan to do with substantial cash they are sitting on.

Ports. I like your posts because I think you come from the view of a businessman not just an investor. I can tell you run your own business and you have picked up things that certainly wouldn't have crossed my mind.I think though that a statement saying they were trading inline with market expectations is more than enough and I have confidence to buy more because I think there is value there.

I agree about Grant Thornton. The DX directors must be fuming, they were probably informed on Monday about this and the lack of clarity about when this will be done is dreadful. Two dates have been missed now.

What a ridiculous market reaction to really positive results.The markets are completed spooked by supply chain negativity.Common sense is going out of the window. Everyone is in complete panic mode because of supply chain problems and inflationary pressures. I for one will be buying as much as I can as soon as I can.

Yeah prtswigger.I see your point.I did go for Wincanton when I had some money to invest last week. I decided to go for the established business and lucky I did so far.There are upsides for DX which are well reported but I agree they may be drowned out by the negative sentiment that dominates the markets .Hopefully DX will address the issue positively next week and calm any market fears for them.

I have bought consistently over the past couple of weeks. The dfs figures last week were positive so i can't envisage anything other than a positive rns tomorrow. The elephant in the room of course is the extent to which supply chain problems may be affecting the completion of existing and future orders.

Been a share holder here for a bit and got shafted in the summer like many others but have been buying streadily in the early 20's since. I have a daughter at newcastle uni and her bar of choice is revolution in town and she tells me it's rammed pretty much everytime she goes in.As long they can keep on top of the supply chain everything seems rosy.

Really astounded where we are SP wise. Despite positive news flow since the beginning of the year it seems the negative sentiment overrides everything. Even the VOX markets blatant ramping seems to have done nothing.Lloyd bought over 300000 shares in July at 32p and that has barely done anything sustainable.

I've been reading about the HGV shortages and it seems the people in the know were talking about this a year ago. Mainly because of the age profile of the drivers increasing and not enough young blood was coming into the game.It seems to me that the going is going to be pretty tough for DX and also for the SP as there are substantial headwinds with negative sentiment everywhere for the foreseeable future.

The figures will be interesting especially looking to see how the margins are increasing through operational efficiency and turnover growth.

Wincanton and Clipper have had a good year since Christmas but DX seem to have stagnated.I have thought about increasing my holding but I can't make my mind up between DX and Wincanton. Expansion in difficult times is normally a good thing as you come out stronger when things improve but something is holding me back with DX and I can't work out why.Hopefully the figures will clear my mind.

I presume you mean they wouldn't sell in the open market rather than couldn't.It would certainly spook investors if a director started doing that at this point in the journey. Depending on the articles etc it would certainly be possible to sell their shares in other ways should one of the directors want to raise money.Ie the company could buy them back but that is unlikely at this stage in the journey or they could sell to institutions.etc.

Bought into this share recently.Based on a absolutely ridiculous valuation.

Not sure I understand those figures ? Stockopedia have a analyst forecast of 53.50p on the DX page
65% above current levels.

I was just trying to point how absurd Jamie last two posts have been. It boils down to "Lloyd is the man" and Dx secure should increase as they are all going back to work in the city and other banal comments. I expected something a bit more insightful than a statement of the obvious. !!

I've listened to it and what a waste of time. Just a repeat of what was said a month ago. Lloyd is logistics man etc etc. Important yes but what is really important is what he has done in the last three years at DX. Last Month Jamie came out with.... "Everyone wants to work for Loyd" ! ... is that so with 430+ Vacancies.

It was in my view as Chelsea said recently it was a down the pub type conversation. It told us nothing apart from his view that Lloyd is great guy so they should do well and picking figures out of the air. Investment advice at it's best. !!!!!!

Having watched the presentation again PokerChips I agree that they seem to be spinning a few plates.However, I'm not sure that they should be plate spinning at this point in the journey and plate spinning is not the way y to IM's vision of global domination or even global recognition.

I have a gut feeling that the potential growth and interest is a bit more than they possibly projected and its all coming a bit quick for a relatively small team.

I am beginning think it will be either be break even or small profit in H2.

I do think we will see some form of fundraise after we have achieved profitability.I think it will be needed to take advantage of the opportunities that seem to be in front of the company.As a shareholder I would have no problem with it.The directors have plenty of skin in the game and I think it will be done in the right manner.

It was also very telling that Codec 10 was delayed because SS was still working on the licensing deal. How is he going to cope if this aspect grows significantly. They seem to be very heavily reliant on SS.... (Having only one in business is a very dangerous number). I hope this is addressed. !

I thought it a really interesting presentation. A few things struck me;
IM spoke well as usual.
An admittance that the pricing is keen to attract the names they have.
To me I think It looks like's small loss, break even or even small profit in H2.
They said they should reach profitability within existing resources and no need for further fund raising in the foreseeable future.

They are obviously very excited about the substantial increase in the total addressable market(TAM) and SS made point of saying that the business was of a nature that could be scaled up without a great increase in costs or resources. There comes a point though that if they want greater penetration into the TAM they need to be generating profits to support it or additional funds. The tipping point comes in my view 18/24 months. I wonder if at that point their pockets will be deep enough to take it on without further fundraising or will they sell and leave it to the big boys to deal with.

You never really get anything new in investor presenations and bird have already said it will be in the confines of information already disclosed to the market. The more tech savvy investors may be able to read between the lines but I'm just expecting a very polished marketing and pr performance from Ian.

I agree Pokerchips. I'd go further and say that Ian is a real asset as the "public face" of Bird. He talks well, knowledgeably and eloquently and has spoken well in every interview I've seen and obviously has his finger on the pulse of their offering and it's benefits to the space they wish to occupy. ( Excuse the corporate speak)

Well, I did wonder if IM would buy on Monday and now we have our answer. Despite the modest financials to date, they are very bullish and have put their money where their mouth is. All credit to them. There is only one reason directors buy shares and thats because they think they will go up. The journey is going to be interesting. !

Interesting Comments from Paul Scott of Stockopdia today who agrees that the company is well over valued and the growth simply isn't fast enough. However, the cash position not critical. I don't think he has really researched the possibilities/potential and customer list but as a purely analytical approach to the figures I think he is spot on. Hopefully the trajectory we are on continues which seems to be the case according to Allenby.
