Share price response is very much as predicted. Nothing seriously bad but nothing to suddenly inspire the Market either so price will continue to bounce around between 6p and 7p until big new news is announced which typically for SAR is likely to be “out of the blue”. Possible between now and next Tuesday but maybe not.

Isn’t the capsule formulation part of the concept of the “Crystalline forms of a pharmaceutical compound” patent applied for in April last year and discussed in so much detail last weekend. If so then isn’t the RNS indicating this is still progressing very good news?

Looking back over last 2 years. When annual results came out in October 2019 the share price was 0.035p when annual results came out in October 2020 the share price was 2.25p and on Monday when the next results come out the share price will be between 6.5 and 7p.
That’s an impressive performance by any measure.
My hope is that the report on Monday confirms all the positives that have driven the share price up over the last 2 years and that there are no negatives or delays. That should help underpin the share price at current levels. It will be fresh news about new IP progress and status and potential or actual deals that will drive us up to new levels and from all the educated comment on here these fresh developments are not far away. SCH certainly sounds like you haven’t been fiddling whilst waiting for Rome to catch fire. Strange how the years pass by in a flash but it sounds like you’ve created a few memories along the way and hopefully a few more to come!!

Well a lot of people here are still sitting on the equivalent of 5 numbers in the lottery with potential winnings already in the tens of thousands (maybe more!) and waiting patiently for the 6th number to be drawn and a possible jackpot! We’ll have a better idea on the 2nd November as to whether we might have the right numbers!!

I sense they are just buying a few days of extra time. Absolutely no need at all to issue an RNS on Thursday to say results are coming on Monday. Then a further week until the investor presentation. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another big news RNS issued in the middle of all this.

I agree WiP 35p for my remaining holding would be great and would see me sorted .. indeed even 28p would do that. I have sold 1/3 of my original holding which has covered my total initial investment plus a 100% gain on top of that original investment too. So like several others on here I view the remaining balance of 2/3 as “free shares”. 28p/35p for that portion would be wonderful. I’m 66 now so my remaining useful time scale is relatively short but 28p/35p would make it great fun! I promised my dear MorMor (Swedish grandmother) that I would buy an Aston Martin one day .. so that would allow my to deliver on the promise! Probably prefer it to a V70 Volvo although I do still think about an old Saab 900 Turbo as a runaround to relive my youth when I had several Saab’s!! Selfishly I’d just like a quick clean deal now after such a long wait just to calm the nerves and make the decision for me!!

Haven’t had a perspective on recent findings from RMM during last few weeks. Always interesting to get his take on things. Maybe he is waiting for something concrete before updating his thoughts?

Clearly MMs want to keep this below 7p at the close for as long as they can. They let it bounce up through 7p during the day to flush out a few sellers then bring it back to just below 7p. It’s what they do and no harm in that to most of us. Once various bits of news are out they won’t be able to do that any more but they will then make money from lots of newbies piling in and buying as many shares as they can.

Sensible policy Mike selling and taking profits along the way. AIM is always a more risky volatile market so exit strategies are important to fit in with your own longer term objectives. Historically high risk AIM stuff has always been 5 to 10% of my portfolio but now I am an older codger I also focus more time on high yield stuff to generate income via some of the better Investment Trusts and larger FTSE companies. For interesting smaller company ideas Small Company Sharewatch (monthly share magazine) which I mentioned the other day has been a good source for me.

Generally the theory is buy on the rumour sell on the news. However I don’t think this is a normal scenario because there is likely to be a flow of news with each piece of news adding to the momentum. So most people are in here for the longer term flow of several bits of news and are unlikely to sell on just one or two bits of news although some (like me) will do little top slices along the way.

Like you Blastoid7 I’m sticking by my exit strategy too. I plan to sell 20% of my declining balance of shares after each 50% rise in share price. Last sale was at 7.5p, next sale will be at 11.25p, then 16.85p, then 25.25p etc .. By only selling 20% of the declining balance I will always have some shares left. Of course I’d much prefer an offer come along at say 28p or higher sooner rather than later to take all the worry out of it!

Last 4 years results came out on October 13th, October 15th, October 10th and October 19th so pretty consistent with timing. Each day that goes by now would suggest to me they are waiting to issue some big news just before or to be included with the results.

Just another 35 minutes to go .. need to get to 7p or it’s off to Harwich and across to Hoek of Holland for me!!
