Aren’t results on toxicity of 1801 due fairly soon too?

Does Stephen Parkers small purchase confirm no significant news is imminent? Tried to research when Directors can and can’t deal and it’s not easy to work out. Directors must always be party to inside information line say a deal or agreement pending or the results of tests but at what stage in negotiations or testing would they be prohibited from dealing?

Don’t brokers normally issue reports, analysis and price targets and buy/sell recommendations at some point? Are PH likely to be working on this at the moment? Just wondered?

It’s like June and July again .. up 17% in an hour and a half! Even the Directors are buying! Sadly that means no news likely soon!!

Would be fascinated to study the buys v sells here to try to understand what is happening. I realise at the end of the day buys have to equal sells but just keen to see if it is selling pressure driving the fall or simply MM driving it down? Find both the vertical take off in June/July and the crash landing in November both fascinating and bewildering!!

The balance of hysteria as the price went up and down seems to reflect the time scales of the price rises and falls! It took 10 weeks to go up from 3p to 9p and my goodness that generated a lot of hysteria and lots of excitement .. it has taken longer, 14 weeks, to fall from 9p to 4p which has created even more hysteria and a lot of panic going the other way. These are just the slings and arrows that come with owning high risk AIM shares. It was almost unbelievable that the market cap rose from under 100 million to almost 300 million mainly because 3 guys invested 4 million between them although it was hard to put a concrete value on the other factors (positive results for 1801 v Covid and it being superior to dexamethasone and the re-igniting of interest in 737 in combo).
If the science is as good as we think it is (and all that has changed so far is the time scale .. again) then our time will come, so will Thoth’s 28p and that curve mentioned by Lazarus might prove surprisingly accurate.

I’m very grateful selfishly to the HNWIs who pitched in at 7p and 8.25p because their serious interest in what SAR are doing helped push the share price up to one of my sell triggers at 9p. I’m sure they invested for the long term based on the science and almost certainly were party to a lot more detailed information than us humble PIs. So don’t worry about them being cheesed off. They are unlikely to be spooked by the recent price falls because they are excited by what lies down the line over the next few years like many others here.

Price has risen from 1.50p in March and is at 4.5p today.
Rise supported by HNWI investment, encouraging developments re SRA737 used in combo with AZD, successful trial result for 1801 v Covid and Patent grant for 1802. Upon reflection that looks like a reasonable price response in the absence of any new deals over that period. Real sustainable value will only be achieved from concrete financial results (licencing, takeover or some other deal) in the meantime rises to and over 9p can only be interpreted as being the result of hope, hype and a bit of hot air. Wish I had been wiser and sold a few more at 9p!

Fergie had a phrase for times like this easily adopted to “squeaky chair time” and we all know a man who has a squeaky chair .. will Tim bring it to the AGM?
May be a whole different scenario by then .. no need to panic .. will be a long time before this game is over.

A lot of people on here understand the science in great depth and post brilliantly informative insights. Similarly there are others who understand the market and know how it can be manipulated. Probably very few understand both. The ones who understand the science will just sit tight until it all comes to fruition and will do very well at that point. The ones who understand the workings of the market will be trading in and out on the daily movements in the share price and will also do very well. So opportunities for both sides.

Looking at our 4 key products I suppose the lack of fresh positive news has taken the impetus away. News for n SRA737 looked very good 2 months ago when they announced 737 was going to be trialled with AZD WEE in mid 2022 but that now seems to have been delayed. Human laboratory trials for 1801 and 1802 were planned for late 2021 but these are late 2022 now. And Aurora is just hanging there waiting for a new deal. So without news of any deals, no update on Agile yet and no update on the secret patent then SAR will just drift back until something new happens which is looking increasing Nguyen like 2H 2022. I had a clear strategy for selling at different price points are n the way up which worked up to 9p at which point I had sold 33% of my holding (and doubled my money on my total investment) bit I should have had a sell strategy for potential big falls too with hindsight. However like most LTH I am here for the world changing news on our products hopefully one day and will just sit it out now for a while longer.

Excuse my ignorance but how does Pfizer Tyk2/Jak1 differ from SAR’s Tyk2/Jak1 and why are Pfizer terminating their research whilst we remain hugely optimistic? Is it because 1801 and 1802 are different variations of TYK2/JAK1 and just potentially better than Pfizer’s versions?

It was 25 August that Stephen Parker tweeted “heading into the clinic” .. looking back at the tweet I see it was with 1801 so autoimmune diseases. Wonder how that is progressing?

Does the massive amount of buying this morning suggest the market view now is that anything under 5p is cheap which lays a base at 5p. I do not understand the machinations of the market or the activities of MMs when there is no news obviously pending ; I just assume they will manipulate the price in either direction to create a market so they can trade to make a margin; in these situations (no news pending) the underlying value probably doesn’t matter that much. Do posters think 5p is now the base for the time being?

With that level of buying relative to selling the price fall makes no sense. It can only be MM trying to soften up the market for big buys.

Was that a random tweet by SAR or in response to someone else’s tweet. I’m still intrigued by SAR tweet a few weeks ago “into the lab” I don’t think they ever explained what they specifically meant by that.

Hi Aber .. as you know I have no particular agenda except as a LTH wanting to see something like the much vaunted 28p sooner rather than later as I am not getting any younger. But my review of the last 3 years RNS which I summarised in my Saturday post at 11.53 concluded no obvious news is due on SRA737, TYK2/JAK1 or FLT3 Aurora until at least mid 2022. The only possible news likely would be a new licence deal on one or more products, details about the Secret Patent, Agile funding, fresh HNWI interest or a takeover. I can’t think, albeit with a heavy heart, what other news might might pop up in the near future. I have absolutely no intention of selling but I fear time lines may have gone out a bit but I would love to click on here (which I do several times a day) and get a fantastic surprise out of the blue!
