If you are seriously thinking about investing here you should get on with it IMHO.
RKH struck a deal with Navitas a few months ago to finally try to take Falkland Oil to production after years of fannying about with Premier Oil and Harbour. Navitas have a good reputation for getting this sort of thing done. Oil prices are high and likely to remain so (breakeven oil price for Sea Lion field is $40/bbl). There is estimated to be 250 million barrels of oil in the main Sea Lion field and probably double that in the immediate surrounding fields. In addition they have discoveries at Isobel/Elaine that could be developed at the next stage. RKH have 35% Navitas have 65%.
RKH are waiting for imminent announcement of a settlement in the Ombrina Mare dispute with the Italian Government which may be announced in next 20 days (or 80 days in worst case). Could be worth between $50 and $200 million to RKH. RKH currently valued at £47 million. Cash flow okay after a recent money raise. First oil possibly 3-5 years I’d say. In my opinion bearing in mind all the above 8p is dirt cheap! However as always DYOR and don’t invest money you cannot afford to lose!

Brave move Bellers .. I have a decent chunk in GGP but fancy RKH even more after an interminable wait of over 12 years I think the stars are finally lining up for Falklands Oil so I have pumped more into that!! We may both be mad!!

Thoth .. I’m so sorry to hear about your terrible troubles with health. I hope there is a chance of some sort of recovery or just some improvement some how or other.
I cannot thank you enough for your insightful and informative and inspirational posts over the years. Your contributions have been terrific.
I have already made a decent return here through selling around a third of my shares last August but like many here I look forward to the happy day of 28p (or £14) a share that you so assiduously and persuasively mooted a while back. I do hope you will be around to see that day but if not it sounds like you are making absolutely sure your family will enjoy it which is brilliant. Thoughts are with you from across the oceans.

Are we oversold at the moment .. I think Maid was saying if we can stay above 2.20 then 3.50 (old 7p) is the next stop? Of course a positive RNS on 737 or 1801 is likely to test £3.50 too!

Talking about a foot .. did anyone else see the amazing massive statue erected by Hamburg FC some time ago as a tribute to their wonderful all time star player Uwe Seeler ( 4 World Cups .. only matched by Pele!) who sadly died yesterday .. still claiming the ball never crossed the line 56 years ago (probably right mind you!! - never understood why Roger Hunt didn’t head the rebound in?!! - I was playing football with my kids, grandkids and nephews at Center Parcs last weekend and got the chance to knock in a rebound for the winning goal even at 67!! Would never miss any opportunity to score .. mind you the lap of honour nearly killed me!!)

I know it seems a bit trite me moaning about watching a share price when colleagues on here are struggling with health issues but at least this investment could have stunning health benefits for many people if things work out.
