That response is an absolute disgrace like most stuff that seems to come out of government. It makes no attempt whatsoever to explain why MHRA failed to advise Sareum what other information was required in order for them to decide if they could give approval for testing or not; Sareum after all that hard scientific work over many years were just hung out to dry with no explanation.

I am still waiting for a response to a FOI request from MHRA made in April; it’s a bloody joke and drives me mad!

Sadly our celebratory picnic at Taittinger sure wasn’t a big surprise because the Chateau is closed for refurbishment until 2024!

Further round the Champagne Trail we stumbled across a splendidly named village called Bouzy, where the Moet Chandon grapes grow and then lunch in a place called Rilly La Montagne which has over 20 Champagne houses in a fabulous village setting.

So a truly splendid day following PRD and all the posts as we trailed around the vines!!

Mrs Silver is equally happy as her investment 2 weeks ago is up from 8p to 13p already!!

Valuing a company line this at just over £50 million has got to be a joke .. whatever the risks that might still lie ahead. Trouble is the markets are controlled by the idiots who allowed the 2008 financial fiasco to develop and who derailed probably the most inspired budget for 35 years last September etc etc so nothing is surprising when it comes to market judgement!!

The apartment we are staying at on the outskirts of Reims overlooks the Taitinger Estate .. I know where we are going for breakfast!!

Sitting at a bohemian cafe in Montmartre yesterday evening and having fobbed off numerous street artists a 1930’s vintage open top Ford parked up on the opposite side of the road; whilst I enjoyed a final Pastice Mrs Silverfoil wandered over and engaged the owner in conversation and noticing he did “tours” asked if he would drive us back to the hotel! He agreed for 50 euros! He then proceeded to drive us on the most wonderful 2 hour tour of Paris lit up at night past all the fabulous sights parping his horn at all and sundry and getting thumbs up and cheers in return and dropped us back at the hotel at midnight! Quite magical. If my 8p investment in PRD can turn into something magical like that this week I’d be a very happy chappy!!

OilyFred .. absolutely sound exit strategy to exit at 25p. One option I am considering is to sell 1/3 of my holding at 25p having bought in at 8p. Thereafter I could relax a bit in the knowledge that I then had that notorious “free ride” and could not lose what ever happened; would then just be a case of deciding how much profit I wanted out PRD.

7th July 2Q results came out last year. Should be very exciting!

With all those people with “golden tickets” out there the chocolate factory is going to be incredible busy!!

If he had hung around a bit longer GRH he might have shown you his Rolex which he would have then told you cost him 50 grand!!

Another factor in the mix is age and time span. 35 years ago when I was in my thirties with many years ahead of me I adopted a much more aggressive and high risk approach to investing which served me well during the dotcom boom and easier to deal with the highs and lows because I knew there would be several cycles ahead of me. I had one friend whose basic approach was to sell big time when market cycles hit new highs and buy back in big time after a crash; he has done very well!

My approach now at 68 is a more balance portfolio about 20% cash, 10 to 15% high risk “fun and exciting shares - like PRD, RKH and SAR etc) and 65% to 70% safe high yielding FTSE companies and investment trusts. It’s the high risk stuff that I love most of all especially following people on chat boards like this with so many great contributors.

Certainly agree with the endowment effect and it is very difficult to counteract the emotional attachment that attracted you to a share in the first place so certainly a good idea to revisit the original investment case!

My biggest lesson I guess from 40 years of trying is not to be too greedy as a price rockets; take some profits on the way up. I failed to do this on RKH saw it rise up towards £5 and then back down again - utter stupidity with hindsight! Funnily enough looking at that share now then once again it looks like a very exciting prospect so in the end I’m glad I kept them! The lesson I learned from RKH I used when I sold a chunk of my holding in SAR when it rocketed in 2021 and I’ll do the same here “when it rockets”! Will probably sell some at 50p (to cover all my costs and some profit) some at £1 and the balance if it gets to £2!

Ironically I was in a coffee shop opposite specsavers in Chichester when your post appeared so no one should ever question your foresight! I was on my way to play tennis and the usual thrashing by my son so tail very much between my legs after this mornings efforts!

I wouldn’t particularly call just over 30p per share by KeithOz “ramping” on a share with this much potential!

The knowledge and quality of posts is certainly much better here on PRD than on the others! The Reddit post was incredibly useful and GRH and KeithOz are inspiring. Attachment to RKH goes back to DES and FOGL in 2011; the potential down there is massive and whilst I’m down 75% I don’t want to miss out if oil and gas finally flow; I’ve had the mickey taken out of me endlessly by friends in the oil business for last 11 years be nice to have the last laugh. PRD sounds amazing and glad to be in with all you great guys.

The mighty PRD indeed. I am just glad to be here and with a decent holding. Grateful to my son for the initial tip. Hope he can learn from the mistakes I have made over the years (basically timing) and end up making more than I have!!

Just wondering if anyone else on here is invested in these other 3 O&G exploration companies and if so any thoughts? My biggest position is RKH because I have been there for so long and I don’t want to miss out if oil finally flows in The Falklands which is increasingly likely now Navitas are involved ; BOR looks greatly undervalued relative to its potential assets; BOIL I just don’t know .. I got in at a bad time last year and haven’t seen much since then to get too excited about!! Tempted to sell BOIL and put the money into PRD

Wow that Reddit note was something else. Got to say I am in awe of the technical knowledge these guys (and the guys they mention on here) have!

I was slow getting in to GGP and BOIL last year and have paid the price but happy to be in here at 8p average. If it does hit £2.60 the retirement travel bucket list will have no holes left in it!!

The 1.32 share price looks right though even though the spread is wide.
