Looks like TW is going to miss a chance to fill his boots with PRD. Used to subscribe to a tip sheet he ran many years ago and don’t remember it being that great.

Not a tweeter so can’t tell what his tweet means. Is he saying something negative about Lonny?

If the market cap reached 1 billion, a 16 fold increase and a SP of £2.24 I would be absolutely tickety boo .. my Dad always greeted everyone with a glorious open armed “top of the morning to you” that made people feel 10 foot tall and certainly if PRD really does deliver anything over £1 that’s how I would feel!

Totally agree shorting should be banned and so should derivatives which just about no one understands. (I passed my ACA in 1979 but the hardest exam I ever sat -and very luckily - passed was the Derivatives module of CISI exams) They are supposed to create stability but often have the opposite effect as seen in 2008 and last year. They have been called weapons of financial destruction.

I’d add crypto currencies to the list too; I did a tax return for someone last year who had invested in crypto and frankly neither he, nor I, had a clue what to do (so I got outside advice!!)

So any estimates for share price if 19 TCF is correct ?!

Completely random thought because I know absolutely nothing about drilling and rely on the brilliant analyses on here by people that do. Holly mentioned poor borehole conditions. I noticed when the video was posted on here a few days ago of the drilling in action that the drill was not actually centred on the square metal frame at ground level - it was drilling off centre of this plate. Is that completely irrelevant and and would not lead to a wobbly drill? Just looked a bit odd to an uneducated observer!

That’ll teach me to buy some more yesterday; happened to me before! I get excited and buy a few more and boom!

Thanks for the amazing research from various posters on here really brilliant so I have decided to add to my PRD holding this morning by selling 25% of my RKH and reinvesting it straight into PRD. Looks like PRD will play out one way or the other this year whilst RKH is more likely to play out in 2024 when they should get the go ahead in The Falklands.

If £5 is indeed a realistic potential price target representing a >30 fold increase on the current price you’d be bonkers not at least to have a small punt on PRD.

The increasing excitement here is tangible! Have there been any observable changes in the site area over the last couple of days that might give some clues?

On April 30th 2010 RKH sat at 42p then following the discovery and initial valuation of Sea Lion it reached £5.08 by 24th September. I remember days when I sat in the kitchen in Knutsford and the price almost seemed to go up vertically some days!

Then like an idiot I hung on to them all .. all the way back down. I’d love to have a second chance on an O&G exploration share and this looks like the best chance ever. I was in at 8p if it reached a £1 I would be ecstatic and I won’t be greedy this time!

A clean takeover would be nice as it would take the agony out of the “sell” decision!

Wonder if you are old enough to have been recruited by Dick Shervington at PW; he was the marvellously charismatic head of Personnel there in the 70’s and 80’s and kindly offered me a job at PW in 1976 which in the end I declined. Everyone who met him appreciated his great warmth even in that very competitive recruitment environment. Sadly he passed away last year.

Be ye very afraid .. the top accounting firms racked up over 46 million fines in penalties, fines and sanctions in 2022 with KPMG, Grant Thornton, EY, Deloitte and PwC the star performers!! Maybe our colleague was a Partner at Arthur Andersen or what about the latest scandal engulfing PwC in Australia for allegedly leaking government tax plans to clients 😱!!

If they seem to struggle so spectacularly with their basic raison d’etre I can understand why selling shares might prove to be a complex exercise!

Hi Terrence .. have downloaded a summary of the book you suggested “How The World Really Works” from Blinkist , a brilliant app (costs just over £10 per month) that specialises in producing 20 minutes summaries of thousands of books. Looks like an interesting read .. many thanks

Thanks Terrence .. I have 2 highly respected intelligent nieces who studied climate change at University and not one single student or teacher questioned the Science in any way .. it was just 3 years of heated agreements! Pointless!

There is an outstanding book on climate change by Steve Koonin called Unsettled. He does not dispute the planet is warming but says climate scientists are deliberately distorting the research to make things seem worse than they really are; he believes it is very difficult to separate human effects on climate from natural effects. He believes that climate changes should be addressed over a century time scale not just a few decades and that governments should focus on adapting to potential consequences of climate change rather than spending trillions trashing economies and people’s lives around the world. He argues what is the point of the 1 million people in developed countries going all out for non fossil fuel options when the other 7 billion people round the world who are less well off simply can’t afford to do that and will continue to pump out CO2 for decades to come.
