I’ve felt for a while that politicians and scientists have become punch drunk with information overload and are no longer able to make rational decisions. Worse the quality of politicians on both sides is truly depressing Javid, Williamson, Han****, Raab, Eustice, Shapps, Starmer, Ashworth, Dodds, Raynor .. what chance do we stand with that lot?!! I wouldn’t trust any of them to sit the right way round on a lavatory!!

Although we touched 9.5 a few weeks ago I believe the highest close to date has been 7.49 so beating that would be another positive milestone

I don’t have acces to real time buys and sells just the limited and slightly delayed reporting on this site but my gut felling is that the share price is instinctively trying to push up but the MM are trying to push it down.

12 billion would be about £3.50 a share.
Quite happy to have my tail wagged for that!!

I'm writing to flag up what appears to be an exciting developing story with a small british AIM listed specialist drug development company called SAREUM who are working on, among other things, therapeutic treatments to deal with the worst effects of Covid19. One of the potential "pills" alluded to by Boris a few weeks ago. If their intial findings are proven to be right their product could present a serious weapon in the battle against Covid and a return to normal life.

I thought it might be of some interest to your health/science/medical team.

I must declare that I have been personally invested in this company for over 10 years so any positive media coverage is likely to be beneficial.

Sareum have been developing treatments for various cancers and autoimmune diseases for over 15 years. Amongst the products they have been developing is a product SDC1801 which is a TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor. They realised last year that this could potentially reduce the inflammatory effects of severe Covid and deal withn the cytokine storm that occurs within the respiratory system of Covid patients.

They received government funding in December to further research this possibility and published the preliminary results of this work yesterday.

The work confirmed that SDC1801 does indeed reduce the levels of cytokine storms associated with acute respiratory syndromes (like Covid) and was found to be superior to existing anti inflammatory steroids currently in use like dexamethasone and baracitinib.

Sareum now intends to progress this research and are hopeful they will soon be added to the governments AGILE clinical development program platform which fast tracks research and development of potential Covid treatments.

If their work does indeed result in a serious and effective therapeutic treatment to help with Covid patients (including long Covid) then the benefits for the UK and indeed the world could be inestimable.

HNWI will have known this when they made first investment and probably knew what will be in the next RNS when they made their second investment. Very interesting!

Didn’t the RNS on May 25th say there would be delays into Q3 or was that referring to other research and not the work that might feed into AGILE?

My worry is that if it goes to penalties Pickford will save one but VAR will allow the Germans to retake it!? So I hope we can do it in normal time. Law of averages says we must beat them eventually. My understanding is that AGILE represents proof of govt confidence in drugs and treatments with potential in relation to Covid and will provide funds no to fast track the testing and research. However how much are we likely to receive if selected and how do posters here get the share price to 20p if we get funding?

England can certainly win the Euros with some good luck and some good penalties. Every team needs those 2 things to win an international tournament. Over the years England have suffered from some terrible bad luck and taken some terrible penalties but that can always change. The law of averages can sometimes work in your favour.

Crikey this is like having 5 numbers in the National Lottery (nice amount to win) but then having to wait 4 weeks for them to draw the final number! The odds would then be 1 in 54 (assuming 59 numbers originally) of hitting the jackpot! I think our odds might be slightly better than 1 in 54! Hopefully!!
