In the LoI RNS it said it would be in the dry dock for a period of five months. With a value of £60m-£70m, depending on agreed work, with £5m up front for prelim work. I remember posting sometime back at the end of last summer that information from Cenovus said that the Searose may be "off platform" until September.
In the contract RNS it narrowed the contract value down to, "approximately £61m", and that it would be in the Building Dock for a period of more than three months.
Well, more than three is still five. And I should have read that bit about the building dock and saved myself some time second guessing about the draught of vessels. Fun as it was. lol
It goes on to say, "A number of pre-arrival works have already commenced, including inspections, procurement of steel, fabrication of customised blocks and other dry dock operations. The Company is to commence certain fabrication works in FY 2023 so that it is fully prepared to commence refurbishment and upgrade works as soon as the vessel arrives next year. Upon completion of pre-arrival workstreams, the Company is expected to generate revenues of approximately £10 million in FY 2023, with the outstanding balance expected to be received in FY 2024."
So, the prelim money seems to have doubled to £10m. But it's not clear if that extra is out of the £61m or additional.
And as usual, without clear guidance, that would depend on what you want it to mean. :)
