RE: RNLI statement from HARL29 Nov 2021 00:43
And sure enough, Mr Teflon has explained it all, by tweet no less, and we can all carry on as if nothing untoward has ever happened. Bit like an appolgy for an incorrect main headline stuck in the wanted adds a few days later. It'll be interesting to see if this is also followed by a similar RNS in the morning.
And, regardless of the outcry of foulplay and the oh so obvious explanation, it does not matter about investor sentiment, It never does. Because if they lose a few disgruntled punters, ah well, there will always be plenty more for the next bit of fluff.
It had the desired effect of being splashed around the media before the placing. And that's it.
I'm sure they must have some sort of contract lawyer on the team that creates the RNS's. Because, having re-read the RNS multiple times it's obviously more cleverly crafted than just written.
TBH, H9, I personally wouldn't pass up the op to average down if the occasion should arise. The market won't care if anyone is taking the moral high ground. It will just carry on, churning away.
And all that matters, regardless of valuations, company profit against turnover or the ebitdooda are just two figures. The one you bought at, or your average, and the one you decide to sell out at.
Everything else is just froth. And time watching the froth.
