The news was kinda expected, tbh, given the 28 days timeline given. So many, that weren't in, would have got in/topped up during the period. With the other unexpected news of the RNLI deal one would have thought that may have had a better effect.
Although I've added all the way up from 16 something, I was waiting to see if they were going to go cap in hand before comitting any more.

Thought this might be of interest. Not H&W specific, but at some point shipyards like ours will have to fit/retro-fit the required technology that will drive the next gen vessles.

If you look at the picture in slide one you can make out the path of Wooda road going diagonally from behind the yards back up to the main road. The two feilds that are earmarked for this newbuild are the ones opposite those existing properties. The closer one being triangle in shape.

As I think that bit of scrubby tree covered land may be theirs, plus a strip of land opposite the entrance gatehouse. Someone posted a better picture of the land a while back but can't find it at the mo.

As Radders said last week, when you posted the first article, JW could have chosen his words a bit better. Knowing the site of these new builds and the H&W yards I thought at the time that there are already existing residential properties a hell of a lot closer than these new ones. Another storm in a teacup like the Triumph debacle.
