Well, as part of the second payment it said, "A total of £1.50million consisting of cash of £1.20million and Ordinary Shares in the Company equivalent to £300,000" and those two added up to £282.4k. Kinda fits.
As regards major shareholders, could they sell what they had at higher prices then buy back the same amount and end up with the same? So no TR1 needed. Just need to be given the nod that the placing is coming. ;)

Not surprised with the Petroc thing, tbh. Was told not long after they took on Appledore that they were planning on working with Petroc as regards apprenticeships and maybe day release for students there. Being the largest of the FE colleges around the area they have quite an intake. All good.

A couple of large trades showed up totaling approx 1.5m. Wonder if that is part of the Appledore payment?

FWIW, I gave up keeping a records after 2019, but in the years since I first invested in 2012 the sp had dropped by 97% whilst the share issue had increased by almost 4000%. Or 78m to
