Had a quick look over towards the yard whilst coming over the Torridge bridge, half an hour ago now, but the tide was way too low for anything to enter the dock from what I could see. VF now has it due west of the tip of France so tomorrow would be my guess.

Tide times for Monday are 09:45 low- 15:21 high. Although a vessel of that size should not be too reliant on a high to get over the sand bar that forms at the mouth of the Taw/Torridge estuary. I'm actually going away for the weekend but might time my journey back to swing by Appledore for it's planned arrival time. Be good to get some before and after pics.

There are more and more gettting in on the act and what is effectivly a years deley in getting this to market hopefully isn't detrimental. There was a link to a study in the US that Jigger flagged up last month on his twitter feed that I found interesting. Shame he doesn't post here anymore, can understand why though, with all the BS that transpires on any given day. The link was interesting for a couple of reasons. Firstly the use of wareables, but also the fact that it was in a human challenge trial. I thought the US didn't do CHIMS.

I do like someone that starts on the tools and then works their way up through the ranks whilst developing new qualifications on the way. Impressive CV and a good fit for what lays ahead. Must admit, for all my criticsim of JW he's built a good team around him.
