It was indeed. But there was nobody to stop him going on a spending spree to get more, once he got the first yard.

I may be wrong, but I believe he has only indicated that if "might/could" shorten the lockin period. If he felt it was right to do so.
As the shares are held on trust by Croft Nominees until such time that they are ALL released not sure how anyone can be " let out early". Mates or not.

Speedy, I don't think a placing would cover a civil engineering project of that size. From experince of creating basements and the work envolved in underpinning the existing structure to do so would be a huge task.

From the RNS on the 10/03/21 they held 118,666,666 or 8.77% (at the time)
From the company website, as of the 6 December 2021 they still held the same.
Looks like Miton UK Microcap Ord accounted for 36,666,666 and the balance of 82,000,000 was held in the Premier Miton UK Smaller Companies B Acc.
82m minus 1,940,000 is 80,060,000 and not the 78,615,995 stated, so something is amiss somewhere.
Didn't spot any other holdings RNS's so not sure. Maybe there is one due?
