Anyway, being "suitable" and having the capacity is one thing. Up to now the two big players still command the lions share of any MOD contracts. I'm hoping that this about to change and that we don't just get the crumbs. Although, at the moment any morsal would propel us out of being just a marine service station and fabricator and into being an actual shipbuilder.

Certainly does. I kept a spreadsheet of shares in issue since 2011.
Including all the placings, warrants, options, loan conversions shares....
Up to last year it was around 5000% dilution.

Also have to factor in the new Home Shipbuilding Credit Guarantee Scheme (HSCGS) that will give UK shipyards access to finance for underwriting domestic contracts. As announced yesterday as part of the NSbS.

Well, as I posted back mid Feb, there were pundits pushing this to their "followers" back then. Any newbies tha bought in around then wouldn't have the need to be doing it to average down, like I was.
Anyway, we are always going to need some to sell, to allow others to buy. Simple market mechanics.
Let's see how just one contract changes this. Would imagine that is what the Bod are waiting for before releasing EoY results.

What about a 25-30% profit since the lows. Tempting, but lots more to come. imo

Didn't really expect them to be announcing actual orders straight away, but it's out now, at long last. And, along with the finance package annouced yesterday, all we can do now is hold on and wait for a contract, or two, to come our way.
Happy with my recent top ups, with a few now showing profit, so bring it on. :)
