Fine can be paid off incrementally so not a problem, particularly now that orders will increase.
If the sp stays below £2, I'd say that, with the uncertainty gone, it makes PFC a juicy takeover target.
I've not looked on here for months as sp rotted around the £1 mark. I've still got 5k shares bought at 111p earlier this year.
This has now become a whole different ball game and much brighter skies lie ahead.
£2+ before Xmas
Just wanted to say "thank you" for recommending my post yesterday. It ended up receiving 61 thumbs-ups.
I think this market is rotten to the core and the link to reality lost.
I forgot to say in yesterday's post that I have a significant warchest to invest further into the market but I'm now very averse to punting any more money in. Why should I? The market has become a roulette wheel only with not one green "0"pocket, but half of them.
However, having said all that, if the MM's (human or algorithm) think I'm going to panic and sell, HOW WRONG ARE THEY!!!
Not an effing chance! I'm lucky that I can hold indefinitely but appreciate others not so fortunate.
So, my message to the market.......
F-you, your not stealing my shares!!!
Not just COPL, but in last 3 to 6 months, the market has become all risk and no reward and the trust of ordinary retail investors has been lost. COPL is a case in point - fantastic prospects, Atomic acquisition, 80% increase in production, CUDA in distress so potential bigger WI increase, rising oil price. Yet the market has completely ignored all this.
The market has become one giant moneypit where the phrase "do your own research" means nothing anymore. Even a company doing well the share price gets continually surpressed or even caned.
The market is in danger of losing it's retail investor base because it is not rewarding risk.
I'm personally beginning to wonder why I bother. Anyone else see it this way? I'm also in SYME and SENX - 2 good companies yet looking at their share price performance over last 6 months you'd think they were about to go under.
It's madness! And it's become tiresome and I'm sick of it.
Also suspect that once the initial rollercoaster settles, perhaps by Weds lunchtime, there will thereafter be a steady climb. To what? Who knows? 2p perhaps?
Not a stupid question at all. In fact, we are probably all wondering the same thing.
My hunch is the MMs will have free reign depending on how pre-market orders look.
Lol, 2 PME's on 4 trades. I mean, WTF!
The time has come for a concerted campaign to get rid of the current board of mis-directors. They have proven, over a period of at least 10 years, to be incompetent and incapable of adding any investor value whatsoever. In fact all they have achieved is shareholder value destruction.
They need to go. NOW. They are useless. We need a new board with ambition, dynamism and opportunism.
I hope this post gets a lot of agreement and in doing so sends a powerful message, loud and clear, to Trahar and his useless chums.
Another day, more shareholder value destruction.
Will it ever change :(
Good read Extrader and an excellent film it relates to.
Extrader, thanks for posting his response.
What was your "6th sense" of his demeanour/tone? Did you sense (in any discernable way) contained excitement in his voice/replies?
Or, conversely, did you sense an impending doom and a facade to try and hide it?
A 30 min convo would certainly give me clues as to where his head was at.
I have also just emailed Trahar about September RNS and lack of updates on those specific points.
Extrader, would you mind sharing your letter to the nomad as a template? I'd also like to make a complaint to them.
Maybe putting in an official complaint to the nomad regarding not updating shareholders if Coidic are still involved.
As a few have said, if they trumpeted their initial engagement, then we as shareholders have a right to know if Coidic are still involved.
Who is the nomad?
Basically, the BoD are saying
"Here it is guys, this is how much ore we have and this is the cost of extracting it. Who wants it??"
The project is on the table waiting for a buyer to come along. And that's all there is to it now.
Here's a thought though.......... don't discount the American's. Biden recently trumpeted his desire for an American belt and road equivalent. What a statement it would make to snatch Zanaga from under the noses of the Chinese.......
Has anyone wondered why Trahar has gone from excellent investor relations guy to completely distant and non-comunicado? All in the space of 6 months. But why???
It's absolutely baffling.
Fingers crossed. This is extremely undervalued and hasn't had any uplift from recent oil price increases.
The current share price is little short of madness. No-brainer.
Slift is a well known de-ramper on this board.
Also lives in same town as me too.
Mitch, is it the quiet before the storm?
I wonder..............
Disappointing day for PFC. Wanted a nibble at 150p this week but not to be.
