Another good reason for Seeing Machines management to get some contracts signed.

I haven't heard of any Phillipines news recently, keep me informed.

The last I heard about China was that a large part of their property sector was on the brink of collapse. Speculation was circulating that there could be a near-catastrophic blow to the World economy which IMO was over-hyped. I think the effect of such an event would worsen any worldwide cost of living crises over a longer time period. There would very likely also be contagion into other property markets worldwide. The results would certainly be uncertain.

There has been recent news of large-scale EV production by at least one Chinese company which will not be using Seeing Machines technology. The vehicles are said to be a lot better value for money than their competition.

One obvious solution to the strikes is to give the UAW a fair deal and maybe some sweeteners like heavily subsidised vehicles, as long as it's a Ford of course.

Henry Ford paid his workers well and there was no risk of bankruptcy until recently.

I still believe Ford can be saved.

The time to hold one's nerve was early pandemic at under 2p. Then look what happened.

Great idea is to think like a prospective new car buyer. Read as many reviews as possible particularly those done by trusted motoring organisations. Don't rely on the manufacturers websites. Don't believe any commentary from any party that might have a vested interest in getting you to buy any particular vehicle, until you are certain any comments are true.

Your life could depend on you making the right decision. There could be catastrophic consequences if you make the wrong decisions.

It is interesting that the seat vibration alarm activates in different parts of the seat depending on which direction a hazard is detected. So if a hazard is detected to the right side of the vehicle, the right side of the seat vibrates.

If the driver is inattentive and looking in the wrong place a green light flashes on the steering wheel. There is no audible alarm.

The systems work by monitoring the driver with an infra-red camera mounted on the steering column.

I recommend reading the Chevrolet website and particularly all the safety systems information.

I think there are better uses for a seat vibration alarm and a light on a steering wheel could go un-noticed if a driver is looking elsewhere.

The Chevrolet website isn't very good IMO.

If you find the section entitled 'SAFETY', which in my opinion is too difficult to find. Then search that for information on Super Cruise. Then read through all the Super Cruise information. Then look for information on the DMS installed.

OK, if I was thinking of buying a Chevrolet model I would not want one after my website experience. I would have serious doubts about the Super Cruise system and whether it over-complicates the driving experience. I would note the number of vehicle models Super Cruise is installed in and be wondering why there are so few.

That is if I was thinking of buying a new Chevrolet which I am not.

It is amazing how many situations Super Cruise should not be used in and IMO any driver thinking of using it should ensure they have a sufficiently long test drive. I think around 200 miles of driving would be needed to properly understand these systems.

GM share price down 3,25% at 14.00hrs. Eastern. Looks like the news hasn't been met with any optimism.

The other news on GM sales today was that the UAW strikes are expected to hit sales from October.

A former Ford CEO said recently that you have to earn $100,000 a year to be able to afford a new car.

The cost of auto finance is astronomical and could increase after the next Federal Reserve rate decision.

Everything points to Ford, GM and Stellantis new car prices increasing.

It will become more and more difficult to obtain parts to service BIG 3 vehicles.

There is very likely going to be a trend for motorists to hang on to their vehicles for longer or buy second hand to avoid depreciation and prohibitive new vehicle prices.

Doesn't look good for the automotive sector generally.

It is astonishing how optimistic you are Horseabout. You really don't have any idea.

The steel industry has been adversely affected already and we are less than four weeks in to the strikes.

Every plant is affected as it becomes inceasingly difficult to get parts. The UAW is slowly strangling production.

Only bad news again today. Ford and GM furlough more workers and the strikes are adversely affecting the demand for steel.

Please point out how any of these strikes are good news for Seeing Machines.

Smart eye have more vehicles on the road with DMS fitted. They are signed up to significantly more OEMs across more models. They are the World leader as they state on their website.

The above is a good reason to rattle the Seeing Machines board to get their act together.

There is little hope of achieving their prediction of a 40% market share in automotive.

There could be members on here using multiple identities, I am happy with one.

The AGM is approaching and it is voting time again. A BOD is judged on results, not hype and promises, over stretched forecasts of market share are unnecessary and failure to achieve them is usually punished.

Maybe SEE will be bought out?

Been here since early pandemic, averaged under 2p, had my money back twice over.

I think it is good to rattle the BOD to encourage better performance.

Where is the hard evidence that the rate of installation of DMS is accelerating at Seeing Machines?

SEE has significantly less OEMs signed up and less vehicle models than Smart Eye. There are other competitors fighting for market share.

You cannot be serious ramping SEE, nobody really believes your fantastic prediction that SEE will win a 60% market share in automotive. That is my opinion of course and not long to wait for the results. Thenb we will have a better idea.

Smart Eye passed 1 Million cars on the road over a year ago and have contracts with significantly more OEMs across more models. Try harder with your ramping.

Seeing Machines will need to attain a market leading position and it ain't happening.

Look at the other opposition as well.
