There is a flaw in your logic. The Horizon issue will never be forgotten. That is the reason I will not order stamps online. The forgery issue makes it difficult to choose where to buy stamps. Added to that is a reliability issue, a number of shop-based post offices open and close apparently at random.

So, if I need to use any kind of postal or parcel service all of the above adds to the difficulty.

Have you tried to buy postage stamps recently? Some of the 'in shop' stamp sales were forged stamps, yes FAKES. I heard that today at a sorting office counter. That is the reason for the new stamps with QR codes. So, the sorting office counters don't sell stamps anymore, I am directed to the nearest 'in shop' post office which is closed, mid-afternoon. Told, 'the post office should be open this evening about 6.30'. Any suggestions on how to fix this mess gratefully received.
