For me the worst thing was being told the wells would start low and gradually increase in production then suddenly monthly updates stopped and the next thing we hear there's problems. In an interview I think after about eight months of producing Colin let slip that there had been problems with PG11A right from the start, obviously that leaked which is why the SP started dropping almost from the start of production. Guess who was the last to know? Sadly I don't trust the company but Colin hasn't had much luck, frustratingly if Leben hadn't blocked the permits this would all have been over probably around the 2p mark.

Fastfood I have been trying to rationalise similar scenarios. I just can't for a minute comprehend how Colin could believe that the PB offer will work simply as an appeal to PI's on the limited information we have, it just doesn't make sense. Surely he must have rallied some support before going to PI's. The problem for investors in my position is it would be yet another leap of faith and frustratingly if he has made an investment case to bigger players they would no doubt know more than we do. I can't help wonder if this has something to Buggenhagen, has he convinced CH that the wells can be resurrected without the permit?

I'm just going to sleep on this for now - on the face of it this appears to be such a dreadful misjudgement that I wonder if I'm missing something. Surely CH can't be that daft that he thinks beleaguered PI's are going to hoover these up on the basis of this weeks newsflow? Has he convinced some institutional buyers? Note applications in excess of £50,000 are permissible with the companies consent, well we'll find out next week - it's either going to be the least successful PB raise yet or we'll all be kicking ourselves that institutions got in on the cheap and CH will have given us the chance. Agree that CH's customary discomfort was in evidence at times in the last video but he seemed confident on operational matters and permitting (maybe that was just practice!). I don't know but there has to be more to this than meets the eye.

I wouldn't trust any of these self-proclaimed expert bloggers though I admit DH seems more measured than some of them. He has been hyping CORO for yonks and recently advised his faithful to take profits at SOU.... we'll see

As I said we have no tradition of referendums in the UK for increasingly obvious reasons - this will be put right soon for the good of the country and our young people's future.

Unstoppable momentum towards a second referendum, the deal is just too far from what was sold to the electorate in the first place. Don't worry Brexiteers I reckon this country is crazy enough to vote for it again!

No doubt if the court proceedings come to a satisfactory close, we appoint a new Nomad and all the promises come true then all this will be forgotten. If we scrape through but on punishing terms with Hope, then Zaza has an awful lot of explaining to do and might even be mortally wounded, PI's will at least still be in the game. If we dare imagine the worst case scenario (which I'm not going to type out) then this is already over.

Ha ha that's clever that is. Talking of SOU the only commercial discovery we're likely to get here soon is the revelation that it's extremely commercial being a Director in the Holy Trinity!

Oh hello PNE79 I was about to dig out the old ouija board to see if I could contact anyone on here.

One thing's for certain judging by the concerted efforts to take the shine off TE-10, the positive result so far seems to have played havoc with the strategies of those that bet on a duster.

There's no logical reason why just announcing TE-11 would move the SP but good preliminary results would do as evidenced by TE-10. I would add that sentiment is such a factor with the SOU SP that if the news continues to be good from TE-10 then operational updates like commencement of groundworks at 11 could have a positive effect. We've seen that in the past and indeed when sentiment was at an all-time low just announcing spud at TE-10 caused the SP to fall.

Tim of course a successful well test will deliver the big push to the SP but to state it will 'add nothing' until then is clearly wrong. Haven't you noticed that we've just tripled on preliminary results from TE-10?

Interesting, getting into linguistics and I'm hopelessly biased but could 'commerciality' suggest how commercial rather than if commercial. Possibly not.

What's that based on Omer? Are you just saying you reckon it's going to carry on going up? Particularly intrigued about the 'big jump' on Wednesday, I'm sure we're all looking forward to that! Shame about Thursday though I'm a bit depressed now.

Simon, I always enjoy reading all opinions on the Sound board. If nothing else this journey has made me philosophical about what to believe if anything from other posters so I note your comment "But catching nothing in one's net'" leads me to wonder if you're investing on behalf of the Duchy of Cornwall.

It was at one of the recorded investor events I think after TE-8 he confirmed that we don't have a supergiant connected gas field which was a rumour circulating after 6 & 7. So we're looking for pools of commercial gas but even in Algeria it's not like you can't miss with a drill, I think the 1 in 3 figure is often quoted which means if we have hit one in three with this programme we've done pretty well. Independent prospects and all that but that figure might concentrate minds if we have an option to sell before TE-11, I'm torn certainly until we know exactly where TE-10 take us.

Encouraging to see such a resilient SP today in the teeth of inevitable profit taking and D Holiday trying to orchestrate a clatter.
