I don't think we need a suspension, it's looking inceasingly like the TW manoeuvre yesterday was a last-ditch operation to reduce or close their positions, sickeningly it worked. Remember whatever you think of the man he does this for a living while the majority of us have other employment, not surprising he was a step ahead of the game and I'm surmising he knew that Hope's weak position and the BP email was heading for the public domain. Time for FRR to go on the offensive not request a suspension. Well done the snouts who unearthed this - just a shame we couldn't have had it sprung on the TW gang. Whoever it is must be referring to comments at the shareholders meeting (4th) and an interview given on the 24th Oct. The FCA reply looks simply like a standard pledge to review the complaint. Whether they are a stooge of TW or not I don't know, it makes no difference this is a million miles from FRR being 'under investigation'. So market turmoil, some LTH's claiming to have reduced their position all because of a shabbily arranged and unconvincing stunt. I am now reassured that the lack of a statement from FRR (which did worry me a little) is simply because this charade is beneath their contempt.

That's a fair point BoredTeacher. The idea that an 'investor' would come to Winnifrith with this information is ridiculous. It's so obvious they wanted to close positions and have orchestrated a group spook. They may have got out now at the price they needed but Winnifrith has hopefully had to sail too close to the wind to achieve it, he may yet pay a bigger price in court. I think there is an unstoppable head of steam for a second referendum. I am a Remainer but actually wouldn't be surprised if the Leave vote increased. Remember this is likely forever and the first Leave campaign was conducted on a pack of lies not to mention the dodgy funding. After a second referendum nobody could ever argue that the country didn't know what it was voting for, Leavers should have nothing to fear from a second vote.
