Must say that yesterday was understandable but today's drop has surprised me. While global uncertainties can't be helping I think it's the license area howler that has hurt us much more than the lack of figures. My guess is the market is linking this to the sudden delay and the fact it wasn't sorted out in the time LR bought himself is troubling. For what it's worth I'm still a believer in this asset but there is an appaling record of Australian registered mining companies on AIM.

Call it a dampener, spoiler, buffer, whatever - it looks like the hastily arranged FSC is designed to draw fire from the CC. This could be for good or bad reasons - probably bad given current form :)

This is getting a bit nasty fellas. I haven't met anyone from this board in person but have been around for a long time and reckon I know who posts honestly or not (though it's getting harder). For what it's worth I strongly believe that Crude is a genuine poster and I think he's getting flack purely for being close to JP. If I do ever meet you Crude we probably shouldn't discuss politics or NHS managers (wife is a nurse!) but if SOU can turn this around I'll gladly have a beer with you.

I got berated last night for suggesting this was a troubling RNS (where is Lynxist today?) but I think the sell off has been overdone. Problem is most people have been stiffed on AIM before and anything like this is a red flag. I still have faith in LR but he has got a lot of work to do restoring confidence, starting tonight hopefully. Anyone one know if the event is being broadcast?

On skimming the RNS it took approximately one nanosecond to work out that the delay was purely down to this boundary balls up. They obviously hoped they could sort it out before publishing the SS but there's probably a goat farmer in Leon with half an eye on the local Ferrari showroom and who could blame them? Why is it endemic on AIM that Director's think they can get away with this, no wonder they haven't got their hard earned in this.

'Holding for months' Lynxist wow someone new! If you check my contributions across all boards you'll rapidly find I post my positions openly and thoughts honestly. I genuinely believe we're going to do well here but so depressed that the delay turns out to have triggered a leaky sell off.

Well would you Adam & Eve it, yet again the old adage that delays are never a good thing on AIM is proved true again. The delay appears to be due to an anomaly in the coordinates of the resource license, apparently, there is a 'boundary issue' so a portion of our resource estimate isn't currently ours. Obviously this was the reason for the delay, it leaked, insiders got out, PI's last to know, same old.....

Can't sodding open the document!! Any luck anyone else?

To be fair maybe when he said 'We like to win' he was referring to the Directors and not all of us, it's all becoming clear now - I think there's been a terrible misunderstanding.

I really don't understand the posters who believe the only correct response to this predicament is self-flagellation. The truth is that since the heady days of our Tendrara successes we have been lead a merry dance starting with the TE-8 result which was 'fluffed' to high heaven before over a year later we finally heard the word 'failure'. If it's a crime to assess all the evidence from the reassurances of your CEO right down to the worst rantings of internet trolls and come out on the side of a regulated company then pass me the whip.

Fair enough Levelup - I think I'd manage a celebration with the players but probably not the management. I have a deep conviction we'll get out of this but so much has emerged since TE-9 to suggest we've been poorly informed (carefully chosen words) in the last six months that I'd have little interest in meeting the team even in the success case.

To lighten the mood we could have a competition to speculate about what would be the worst reason for the CC. I'll kick it off by suggesting JP will announce an equity raise to buy our Italian assets back from CORO at a 1000% premium.

Blimey thought I was prone to negativity but there have been some odd comments today. TE-10 is already a duster apparently and even if it comes off not a happy ending? Anyway I'll put those down to despair, nearly there myself! The conference call is going to be fascinating - surely this time JP has to bring something to the party (or wake...). Is it possible that we will have had the GSA by then and the company are in a position to level with shareholders on our current value. During the slow SP demise from the TP announcement onwards I have been curious about when the company might be duty bound to go to their shareholders who are increasingly taking a severe aversion to this mounting risk. During the CC JP didn't dismiss this as a possibility which surprised me as I expected him to bullishly reiterate the plan to complete the three well programme. I'm just praying it's a clear-cut take out and we don't end with some wishy-washy deal where we pass on the crown jewels in order to finance continuing geology lessons.

Not much comfort in this RNS even for a wild dog to gnaw on. Whatever the technical minutia that's going to be argued over the next few weeks the fact is that the meaningful target is 14%. It's not just the seismic but the litany of other geological expertise brought to bear on this plan over the last year and it ends up with our investments resting on a wing and a prayer. Sorry to the folk who have met these experts and formed friendships I'm not out to increase anyone's pain but their competence must be called into question. If the geology is so bad then the seismic should have been shelved and a low-risk modest proving up exercise around Tendrara would have been a better plan. Should have firmed up what he have and got out. I suspect the ego led proclamations of opening a new gas horizon in Morocco has meant hearts have ruled heads in this programme.

The only thing keeping me in now is a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome and a superstitious belief that something good has to happen after two years of continual disappointment. On the plus side 14 is my lucky number, wherever we moved when I was a child it always turned out to be a No. 14, I did have a very deprived childhood though.
