Fair play Robbie you've changed my mind, that's it I'm going whatever the fall out on the home front. If JP has chosen a night in the boozer to tell his faithful that the whole raison d'être for the project isn't happening then I'm not going to miss the bar room brawl of the century. Perhaps it's going to be held at the Queen Vic, reckon Knuckles Mitchelner could handle himself in a rumble - 'get outta my data room you sl*g!!'.

Esox if the LE doesn't come off I'll want to see a pound of flesh! :) I'm afraid for me the event would be a luxury for many of the reasons PNE cited. Would help if it wasn't in London but I missed my chance to attend in Bristol so can't complain about the company's willingness to rub shoulders with us carrot crunchers. If there is an end of term (or perhaps epoch) party I'll be able to justify an expensive trip to town - see you all then.

The testing is starting mid-March so however many yards of ale JP downs he won't be at risk of releasing any price sensitive information. Nice gesture by the team but it has to be simply what they say it is - a simple informal chat.

It's clearly been timed so that there can be absolutely no possibility of any early indications from the testing programme or speculation that the meeting will follow a significant announcement. On a lighter note if it's down the pub what if everyone turns up - wouldn't want to be getting the first round!

Talking about rubbish I have a retraction to make. I assumed that the guns would have to be shipped but if they can be flown in then maybe the timelines aren't as optimistic as I suggested yesterday. Perhaps I was thinking more Navarone than perforating.

Good RNS but it is surprising that after all this time they still haven't learnt to build in a little contingency into the timescales. Looks like the graphic artist is going to be busy again because the latest slippage has made a mockery of Slide 10. If the heavy duty guns are going to maximise flow rate then we just have to respect their judgement and wait, but going back to the timescales I reckon they've published the best case scenario yet again and I would expect things to slip further, always does. Very happy with the RNS but just irritated that we're so exposed to the traders as ever.

That's why I'm hoping this rise here isn't just people limping back from Echo (not gloating I had a small wager on success at EMS-1001). Funny how things change I always thought that Echo would get a massive artificial boost following a positive LE here but if it happens soon it's more likely that CORO will benefit, though I was very underwhelmed with their announcement.

I agree DaveyS, I think most leaks are just inevitable. For instance drill data can be kept to the inner sanctum whereas a flare is visible to all and sundry. Not accusing anyone of wrongdoing but the mood music must change in Sevenoaks on success or failure and lots of staff probably have modest holdings. That's why I think you see big % moves on low volume, just a theory.

On a serious note I'm not so sure Jag, I remember at the time of our hopefully now historic litany of disappointments I took heart from the low volume as the SP declined only to see big volumes on news of failure. Hopefully this can work the other way round. Surely experienced holders can't be loading up expecting news when it is due - this is SOU!! :)

The 'Holy Trinity' are notoriously leaky. Coro rose I assume on rumours of the deal, it was just that the market didn't like the details in the RNS, Echo's recent failure clearly leaked so hopefully good news coming here. Before I get into trouble I don't believe all leaks are evidence of corruption, maybe someone in the Sevenoaks branch of Poundland simply spotted Brian buying a big box of party poppers?

There are some good points there AJ and I admit I have been in a couple of AIM shares where I would have done well to listen to the bashers, which is why before today in about ten years I had only one person on filter simply for rudeness. What pushed me over the edge this morning was not de-ramping just constant drivel, totally up for a bit of humour (though it's mostly gallows here!) but it was getting like having two deranged Trojan horses on the loose inside this board.... seeing a lot of red boxes appearing, happy I'm not missing anything.

Quite PJ - something happened earlier this week when a certain 'contributor', perhaps accidentally, slipped into a rare moment of lucidity which has made me suspicious that something else has been going on all this time.

I've always believed in trying to read everything but can't take the drivel anymore. In better times it was just about bearable, but at times of stress just not welcome being constantly presented with what I can only describe as faintly unsettling nonsense.

I do agree that is quite a likely scenario Blade but can you imagine the fury from shareholders if a cosy in-house deal fails to come near to our LE expectations? I think that Schlumberger and ONHYM would quite rightly press the case that they have shouldered a significant amount of the risk during our time in Morocco. Just for fun assume TE-10 comes in with the strat mid-case, what price per share would look like a bad deal for SOU holders who would then be asking why we didn't court the majors?
