Forget court, there are plenty of instances of him emphasising that this was high risk / high reward before things started going badly. I sympathise but some people do need reminding of the obvious fact that high risk means you can lose everything. Was he morally right to over-promise, to let the confusion over the value of 0.65 TCF to the SOU shareholder drift on, to sit on a chair backwards, to wear a wing collar at black-tie events, to sport cufflinks habitually? Of course not but that won't get you your money back. Sadly our only hope lies with the man who has already helped himself to millions from our investments. He's likely banked a small fortune already and it must be 'exciting' for that one particular shareholder finding out if he's going to join the ultra-rich at LE, for us it's going to be a tad more crunchy.
