I don't think it helps when the likes of Zak Mir look at their crystal ball sorry chart, and say it might go up or might go down, might test this or that level all with no reference to what's actually happening on the ground. I don't disagree that the herd coming and going can have an impact but I just don't see this story going on for much longer.

I wish I could point folk to the interview where he explicitly made this point but it wasn't one of the recent ones. However I remember him saying that it's not in shareholders interests to attempt such a lengthy and risky process, that's for the big boys. You also have to remember that LR & MC have many other business interests, plus I'm sure Carver will be expecting early monetisation of his investment. Someone else also mentioned that the explore, prove and disposal model is very much in keeping with Deutsche Balaton's investment strategy. I don't know anything about their history so whoever that was could perhaps enlarge on that?

LR has indicated in the past that the preferred route is disposal, I think it's incredibly unrealistic to think that EUZ can make the quantum leap to producing. I have noticed how he has a couple of times recently joked that we are low on cash, he seems very relaxed about it and that would be a strange way to butter the market up for a placing. I'm guessing of course but I think he knows we're done with drilling, it's all about the JORC upgrade and negotiations.

I don't think that's fair, LR has kept us very well informed on the current campaign. Lot's of information to be had.

Perhaps PH might front up today to talk about 38Z, if so he'd have to address the elephant in the room and we might get some vague reassurances about progress at 16az. Desperation....

Frankly it's got to the stage where I'd settle for news that 16az has stabilised around the already announced rates with water ingress manageable. The production is far from disastrous, the SP damage is due to the over expectations and resulting lack of confidence. If they hadn't hyped the dam thing so much from April (remember the 'exceptional production rates') I think the market would be happy with where we are. Seen it so many times on AIM where if you over-promise you get hammered, just so annoyed with myself that I was confident that his outfit was different.

Sounds like 16az is morphing into a learning opportunity (see par 4). Time for complete transparency, maybe a conference call, won't hold my breath.

If the company is sold it will certainly be on the back of an increased indicated resource. We might need funds to see us through the sales process but there would be numerous ways to finance this without an equity raise. I see silver is powering up again today.

Whoever the block seller was they clearly wanted it to be known that there was a big seller and make the market nervous. I have always taken some comfort from that as it hopefully negates the nightmare scenario. If someone was selling that shareholders would be horrified at wouldn't they do it surreptitiously? You'd think that would be logical but then this is FRR land and it's the investing equivalent of a hall of mirrors. 'Investing' haha can't believe I just said that.

To all that responded to my post, points read and digested! I'm just not massively surprised that we've dropped 8% in a day after the mega increases. Fingers crossed for an update tomorrow.

Sorry I don't understand what is suspicious about that run of sells? People are rightfully nervous on AIM as the record of companies actually delivering a result on exploration projects is absolutely terrible. I do genuinely think this is different not just in terms of the potential value but that we are positioned for imminent disposal. Stakeholder consultation already initiated to be ready next month in time for the JORC update due end Q3 / early Q4. Could have been a slip of the tongue but Luis Perez referred to 023 as the 'final' drill, with the investigation holes have they got enough? Hopefully because we certainly haven't got much money left!!

I also found the 16th Jul video in which Laurence effectively interviews Luis Perez and Jesus Montero very informative. Also exciting that most of the objectives they discuss have already been hit (subject to assay results). You can find it on Proactive.

Personally, I think they need to come clean (no pun etc) about the unfolding of events at 16az asap. The damage has already been done to the sp and frankly if you're long here it makes no odds if it halves again. I haven't got the will to go back through the interviews but didn't PH tell us that the water cut was purely drilling fluids, when did that change exactly?

Over a month now since 'that' RNS and no word on progress at the flagship well. Sadly that would suggest that progress has been minimal or heaven forbid it's got worse. I'm not saying this won't come good long term but can the turnaround in confidence in this company have been more spectacular? Like others I was convinced they bucked the trend of most AIM explorers with their steady as you go strategy but with the change in identity and thirst for extra funding it's inescapable that they ramped the potential of 16az to high heaven.

Quite, and don't forget Turner Pope's 0.095 is already out of date following hole 023. If the investigation proves yet more its ancient history.
