Quite, absolute rubbish about hype. Yes loads of it on here of course but the calm, balanced delivery from PH is impressive. Clearly he's confident but he has a right to be, he has results and rising revenue, in-country support plus funding for exploration. When I look at those positives I wish I had every penny which I have misplaced in stocks that don't match that criteria in here.

Lawrence in answer to your question obviously anyone holding shares could have participated in ousting Hambro but Fincraft were amongst the major shareholders to support Roman Denisken coming in as CE. I'm hoping Fincraft increasing isn't a portent of more turmoil but just a recognition of our huge potential...... but then this is POG.

It means Fincraft want back in. There is history here of course and Bektas Mukazhanov one of our non-exec's is an investment advisor at Fincraft according to POG's website, I thought he was a Director at Fincraft but I'll assume the website is correct. Despite Fincraft's role in the battle for POG this can only be seen as a positive, he's not going to advise Fincraft to take a 13% stake unless he sees growth down the road. The market seems slow to catch up.

Still positive that they've put approx 24K each of their own cash into POG stock. They're clearly not planning on being spiked and must know the outlook is positive enough to push this higher. Surprised this hasn't pushed us through to 10p.

I mentioned a while back that as Slovenia clearly don't want the gas resource developed might they not just pay off AST to end the matter. Perhaps the possibility of legal action makes that arrangement more likely - anyone want to buy a brand new mobile compressor unit?

Well I'm trying to be positive Jez but when I saw that the salary cuts were scheduled for August my thoughts were slightly different - more along the lines of, why the f%&* not July!!

..... and again it's sentiment, if we'd started badly in Morocco and then recently proved the TE-5 horst we'd now be flying in anticipation of a sale. Okay there's a lot to be unhappy about here, not least the Director's enriching themselves as performance and shareholder value was in freefall but we're down here on emotion, you either see that as an opportunity or evidence that nobody wants to buy proven commercial gas in a safe territory.

I do understand how the SP has completely befuddled people but posts are going unchallenged which suggest we are merely flogging unproven prospects. Remember the economics of TE-5 have improved since the last valuation. Nobody in their right mind would want an escalation of tension in the Gulf but events there may move in our favour as the price of hydrocarbons rise added to the attractive stability of Morocco positioned conveniently on the right (or left!) side of the Gulf. I'm not sure how we'd price in the strategic importance of our asset but I have been wondering if the deal may come from the East, the Chinese are all over the resource sector throughout Africa. I still think we're heading for a decent outcome, if the drill success had played out the other way round with a period of failure followed by proving the TE-5 horst sentiment would have this flying up with exactly the same proven resource.

Jez I'm certain that the video would have been shot for the hospitality company that manage the boat as an events venue. I would imagine that clients can then have their own bespoke soundtrack to go with the video. Still I remember my jaw dropping when I saw it at the time, unwatchable now. On the bright side I do reiterate the point I made this morning that the SP is playing with people's sanity, the TE-5 horst will have us out way above these levels. The task of getting everyone away in profit is surely impossible so the 'exciting time for shareholders' is likely to go down as one of the most distasteful soundbites we have suffered yet.

Surprised we haven't heard about the upgrade in storage facilities. PH said it would take 'weeks not months' on 22 May. He also said his phone hadn't stopped ringing with O&G companies enquiring about doing business. Wonder if the next news will be a deal of some kind?

Yes I get that subtlety but it's a website disclaimer. We know that expectations are massively lower than they once were and this statement is specifically written with the www. in mind. That is they can't be responsible to go back and alter every forward-looking statement which will have proliferated across the web when new information arises. They are covering themselves from an impossible task. I strongly agree that it is a symptom of the greatly reduced expectations of the LE which we knew. I do think the SP malaise is getting to peoples heads. The Te-5 horst has already been valued well above this and has since shown improving economics.

Not sure what your point is, the new version is more concise and may have been sharpened up for legal reasons, but everyone note this is from the old version:

Steady Exploration, agree on the wages but the other 'suggestions' are libellous, Winniforth makes a living by sailing close to the wind. You appear quite well informed as a commentator on O&G but are you aware that by reposting those outrageous allegations you have made yourself a publisher? I'd be making an urgent call to LSE if I were you.

Of course when the LE has been discussed over the years I suspect most of us imagined a relatively quick sale to one of the obvious suitors. It occured to me today that as CEO JP has a duty to explore all avenues and all possible buyers, of course data can be shared easily but perhaps we will be flying in technical teams from all other the world for site visits, meetings and ultimately signatures. I'm not sure what the protocol is in these situations but do we shoulder this cost as 'hosts' in which case I guess the marketing process is much more demanding on cash than I ever imagined, hence the raise. Please no sarcastic putdowns but if anyone has real experience of this kind of thing I'd be interested to know if I'm way off.

Don't be daft nobody puts in $3M without expecting a decent return. People are talking as if the TE-5 horst doesn't exist, I still think we're safe at 20-30p but the raise is intriguing, just doesn't make sense that it's to fund the marketing process. This is a PLC and shareholders urgently deserve clarification as to where the money is going in the next six months.

I've always found Brian to be brutally honest and if tells me that an appraisal well could unlock the discovery. Yes "COULD' and heavens knows what the COS might be I'll guardedly take that on face value.
