Michael if you read CHRI5P's post again, he's suggesting it averages 15 years from the start of exploration / establishing an inferred resource to production. Penarroyya were drilling here in the 1980's, Lundin up to 2007 so I think we're well underway :) Also I suspect the first loan payback scheduled for 2024 might be a clue as to how long it might take to build the mine in the case of a successful BFS.

I was trying to find an interview with Vadim Alexandre from SP Angel on Vox Markets from (I think) last spring. The reason being I remember being annoyed at how easily Justin Waite managed to portray the opportunity for NCYT as being a window before a vaccine was found. Even back then it was obvious the shutters wouldn't come down on testing the moment a vaccine was discovered so I was surprised that Alexandre didn't challenge Waite more on that point. Of course I can't find it now, I think it was a studio interview rather than the podcast so I don't know if anyone else can point me in the right direction? Anyway the point is I did find one from October and I although I'm sure you've all heard it, it's worth saying the contrast is stark. Alexandre is talking about not only the continuation of testing throughout the vaccination rollout but Novacyt platform and supplies being used in hospitals permanently as anyone admitted with a respiratory illness will still need to be accurately diagnosed vaccine or no vaccine. Volumes of supplies will obviously start to fall away as we get on top of Covid so I still want to see evidence of Novacyt looking beyond the pandemic, with the cash pile we have as first mover and premium product, the opportunities must be extraordinary.

Evening DXB1 - I don't think another placing is inevitable but it obviously can't be ruled out. Naturally they're not popular with PI's who feel cheated by having their stake diluted but when you invest in an exploration company it is massively high risk but potentially massively high reward. I really get the impression on this board that many contributors invested without the faintest appreciation of the risk of betting on an explorer with no near term prospect of income. I've already gone on record as saying that I think it was bad form for MC to be floating 'non-dilutive options' over a year ago only to dilute us again but it is a case of equity funding or giving up a stake in what you really own - your bit of that lump of rock that is Toral. Anyway if you are invested I hope you can research further and find some positivity to give you belief in where you've put your money, if you don't think the management can deliver then as I always suggest to the doubters follow your heart, 300+ other AIM companies to dabble in etc. Just out of interest, and I'm not singling you out but negative posters never seem to talk about EUZ in context, may I ask you how you feel about EUZ's engagement in the local jurisdiction, what do you think the grant tells us, what do you think about the conclusions of the Bara report, what are you expecting in terms of strategy from the next round of drilling and what would you regard as success in terms of a possible increase in indicated resource and impact on the early years economics? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Flippin heck more intrigue - just what we need :) On the POG website I can't find details of the breakdown of ownership of the Albyn mine. If you look up Albynskiy Rudnik LLC it seems to be described legally as an 'affiliate' of Petropavlovsk, anyone know what the difference is from being a subsidiary? All I can find online is that in the case of an affiliate the parent company only holds a minority stake but that is at odds with the history of the Albyn licence which Petropavlovsk acquired explored and developed into production.

CHRI5P I think you made the right decision, I got sick of reading and correcting deliberately obtuse posting from a range of bashers, I thought I might worry about what everyone else might be reading unchallenged but honestly they're never going to stop or acknowledge mistruths (that's being diplomatic) so what's the point. Yes Teaye I'm sure that has helped though the rally did begin before Zak Mir's piece went out. I'm hoping an interest I have elsewhere comes in before this blows as I want to load my ISA - so a bit like you I'm happy if we tread water for a bit, still can't help enjoying a rise even if it does boll*x up my strategy though :)

Funny old day, I initially expected it to be quiet but then things quickly warmed up and now it's flat after all. Maybe everyone who wanted to get off have gone and everyone who wanted to get on board are here. Still don't understand why the drill isn't turning - Dec 15th Tweet "track/road/pad preparations for drilling has, as before, been completed professionally & on time ahead of 2021 PFS drilling campaign- thank you EI team". Maybe that track was a bit too dodgy after all :)

Congratulations Teaye, bit further for me sadly. Got me thinking though, there's certainly plenty of sellers at this level so maybe we're seeing a natural churn of investors. I remember in the build up to the PEA there was a lot of talk from certain quarters of bailing on the expected rise so perhaps some who didn't take that opportunity have left this time?

Hope so Teaye, perhaps with some new enthusiastic investors on board we'll build up steadily to a fair value. Surely anyone pessimistic of the prospects for their investment will have sloped off after this rise?

Ah yes that's the effect of a bit of blue Mailgirl. Look at December, we had one poster who invested in late November full of sweetness and light for the asset and management, the SP went the wrong way on absolutely no news and they turned into a fanatical basher in the space of four weeks. It's difficult to trust your research when the SP is under pressure and the board is swamped with negativity but it's your only chance, I genuinely hope nobody was influenced by them. Anyway we're not home and dry until real news moves the ball forward and supports this SP higher, oh and don't worry they'll be back in abundance as soon as there is some negativity in the market for them to riff off.

On a lighter note I was reminded during the rise today of a poster who back in the giddy days of Autumn 2019 used to post "Get up Shep!". Now you have to be of a certain vintage to see what they did there but does anyone remember who it was and if they're still round?

Evening CHRI5P, yes we definitely do need to look forward positively I was just putting the mcap and cash situation in context when a new poster asked why we're so low. I do think this funding for 'key components' grey area needs to be addressed so that we all know where we stand. Don't want to get on a downer when we've had some strong blue days but I believe if we're going to get lasting value for all the good things, asset, location, metals markets and top draw operational performance by the team in 2020 the market needs to be shown that we have a clear path financially to accomplish the PFS and then BFS. As I said earlier it is a balancing act because having endured a tough ride with EUZ the last thing I want is a bad JV deal which in the long run could be worse for shareholders than another equity dilution. This might be where LTH's and more recent investors interests divulge as any JV announcement will get the flags waving for newcomers but if we surrender too much of our asset it might actually choke off the chances of, let's say very LTH's, ever getting their money back.

Hi Discus - well let's hope he's got this one right. Certainly there are plenty of operational and financial reasons to support his chart theory. As he claims to be a financial journalist I don't know why he doesn't try and weave in some fundamentals, operational matters, metals markets and so on into his theories but if he's delivered for you who am I to argue? Anyway welcome to the madhouse and let's hope we all get a result whether our faith is in the chart or practical research or a bit of both.

Why aren't we allowed to discuss the past milnrow? I know I was talking about the history of placings earlier, did it upset someone? Anyway I'm certain the more we move the ball forward the more our funding options open up but as I said the Board need to make this reality with actions that protect shareholders stakes. It isn't as simple as saying equity dilution bad, asset dilution good - we don't want a dodgy deal on the latter either.

Just out of interest Discus were you influenced by Zak Mir? I've always been a bit dubious about charting but wondered if any of his followers could vouch for his record. We all know that positive operational landmarks haven't shifted us much this last year so I was considering joining the charting cult :)

Is that the opening bars of Ode to Joy I hear then Grappa? :) Good to see Plomo making a cracking comeback today, back over the PEA trailing average figure. Easy to ignore our least glamorous metal but it's worth remembering it constitutes over one third of our projected revenues.

CHRI5P - I agree with much of what you say, I think the barrage of negativity particularly targeting LR (strange that it's never MC) would have put off a lot of smaller investors, however I have to disagree with your maths :) or do you mean just today?

mfm - largely I believe you are right to urge caution so I won't dispute that. I would just say I think there's no harm in discussing possible scenarios that might unfold in a given set of circumstances. We are after all as investors in an exploration company risk taking speculators by nature. As long as there is some evidence and research attached to a theory rather than the old - 'massive rumour in the city.....etc' I don't think any harm is done. It's hardly as if the sp is galloping out of control to all-time highs, even TP think we should be 3x higher (risk adjusted, base case and all that) :)
