Yep trade LR is on record as saying that whoever develops this will be mining Copper. It always shows up in the drilling but as far as I know we haven't conducted any metallurgy on it. I have asked about this and I think it is a question of the best allocation of funds. That means concentrating on our core products, whether the extraordinary increase in the price of copper changes that I don't know.

Some good finds there Trade though from the dates I think the second project is inactive. An interesting account of your experiences CHRI5P, it's very difficult to spot the top of an AIM rally, at least the reassurance here is that we don't have rampy Exec's, everything is being done methodically and responsibly to ensure the project is as robust as possible. With regards to yesterday I would urge everyone to relax, the bashers were always going to flood the board as soon as there was any negativity to spin off though not sky rocketing on news of the start of drilling was hardly a disaster! I know I've got into some dust ups with them in the past but they're really best ignored as a constructive conversation is impossible.

My last this evening as I'm currently enjoying an intriguing programme by the fabulous Mark Kermode. I'll just say to everyone all the information is out there, read it slowly, carefully and thoughtfully. Make your own mind up and invest or don't, average down or salvage the remains of your investment if you think it is doomed. It really, really is that simple. Just don't try and pedal a deramping narrative while claiming to be invested, it's just so tragic but I sense some are beyond maintaining any pretence of dignity.

Jed interesting you should say that as with the evidence of Bricks' information earlier today I do wonder if the plan is to go to the bank with a BFS. I'm still frustrated at this little hole in the plan which is the question mark over whether the £2m plus EU grant will deliver a BFS. I do know that pre-production agreements are possible this far out from digging the stuff up so maybe they plan to plug the gap with a deal via Conrad and logically why would they be interested in us if that wasn't possible?

I agree with that Gam (I'm assuming you're talking about issuing equity?), as I pointed out the other day even Lloyds needed to have a massive RI in 2009. Plus you're correct that the further we take this the more expensive we get, by maintaining independence thanks to the £2m equity raise we'll be in a stronger position when it comes to the inevitable question of sharing the asset or complete sale. Good point.

Bricks mate it isn't possible to have a debate with someone's who's starting position is so utterly incongruous and nonsensical that there simply isn't any credibility. Once I realised that BB had probably given up on ever recovering their FCR investment and simply wanted to agitate and chase tick ups from the other disaffected posters, the bin was the only suitable place. I don't care which green box is evidence of Reasonable, Paramount or BB because I have no respect for any of them and I have nothing to learn from their rants. I would hope my posts are evidence that I am prepared to stare the risks in the face and talk about them on here but it is impossible to have a discussion with this element that are incapable of engaging in a nuanced conversation and are simply on a mission to undermine confidence in this project.

Reminds me of children kicking over the Monopoly board because they aren't winning. I really sympathise that this hasn't delivered for everyone yet particularly if you were in FCR heavily years ago and are unlikely to get it all back, but honestly compare the hysteria from these infantile posters to the quiet and dignified exit that Oil made.

Jed I'm actually surprised how high stock markets are given the global contraction but the good news is we're in just the right sector to benefit from the economic stimulus' that are driving equity markets to these levels. Gam charming as ever, your first comment was a bit of a riddle so can't help you there, as for the drilling programme is was costed by the £2m fund raise before we even knew about the EU money so try not to worry too much. If you want to raise legitimate concerns then there will be a requirement for more funding in a years time, but with the PFS we will have funding options as TP put it "This (the PFS) should also enable the Board to narrow down on its list of preferred future options for the asset, which range from outright sale, joint-venture or independently through, say, a 60:40 debt:equity-funded development". Just had another read of today's broker note and there is definitely a more upbeat tone to it. TP seem to be acknowledging for the first time that this is on course to be a mine. I'm surprised to see so many sells today, everyone has their reasons but why wait for news that was scheduled and completely consistent with the known strategy? Guess that's the vagaries of the AIM market, lot's of buying last week on absolutely nothing and then a cool reaction to steady operational news. Great to have the drill turning again though so I'm happy, and as I'm an honest fellow I'm not aghast at the brakes going on the SP for selfish reasons :)

Don't worry Jed, logically commencement of drilling shouldn't be a big SP driver, it's the results that count though I'd hoped we could continue the steady rises of recent trading days. I'm interested that LR & MC appear not to have done any media with this news or have I missed it? Could indicate something else coming up soon perhaps.

Hi Brickz that's kind of where I was with it too. Having raised the £2m for the PFS why now dilute the asset? It was just a thought that maybe while we don't need a partner for the PFS work stream could there be an opportunity to open up on multiple fronts on the licence if someone with the clout came in?

Interesting that they're emphasising the research and educational links again. I know this won't excite the market massively but it puts us at the heart of the regions technological and academic plans. That's important when it comes to the mining licence as we should be part of the Junta's strategy for economic recovery. Just to pick up on something Trade said on one hand I'm asking myself why we would need to bring anyone else on board at this stage? On the other hand I notice they have compartmentalised this campaign as PFS drilling, could there be a role for a partner at this stage to finance more explorative drilling across the licence?

Glengarth I think we just contract SPI Drilling to drill though as per the RNS they are involved in our partnership with the Uni of Salamanca "The current drill programme forms part of the Innovation Partnership with the University of Salamanca and SPI (the "Partnership"), which helped secure the grant award of €466,801.50 to the Company from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI)".

New TP research note - link on Twitter. "Toral can be considered a reasonably advanced, high-grade project with a low-cost entry point for near-term, sustainable production offering payback in Year 4 of a proposed 12-year production schedule. In a mining market that has faced increasing capital restrictions, the PEA cited Toral as a realistic proposition for production, with sub-surface expansion potential to take the Project well beyond Year 12". Massive running room on the licence but we have chosen a conservative approach with our limited funds - looking for more certainty 'early doors', bringing forward the break even point.

We're off! As expected all about de-risking those early years mining, increasing confidence that the returns will match up. May not be as exciting as going for the jackpot but this is exactly the kind of information a developer or development partner will want.

Sorry Jed - typing while you posted . I don't think you'll have to wait 15 years for a boom, talk of a commodity 'supercycle' as metals come under unprecedented demand in the coming years. Our products can be sold pre-production as manufacturers look to secure raw material security and if the final piece of the economic jigsaw falls into place I reckon this will be a mine in 2023/24.

But seriously I think there's a lot to be positive about and perhaps the most telling comments today were from investors who believe things can improve for us in EUZ and while nobody should in reality (contrary to my flippant post) ignore the history of the company, if you're genuinely invested it's time to look forward or really what's the point of being invested?

No not really jedster, I'm afraid I didn't find time to visit a hypnotist today and have all memory of EUZ eradicated :)
